I am about 5 hours in (slow reader) in chapter 4 out of a great many (I think 26?) and I have completely forgot there's supposed to be sex in that. It is good and funny and "easy" so far. I know it will turn more emotional down the road as it's a Nakige, but I like those. It is not something spectacular, but it is certainly entertaining even without the porn.
If it keeps up being good, I won't mind the relative lack of porn.
But it is too early for me to recommend it yet. What I can say is that the chapters 0-4 are good and I look forward to playing more.

Yeah, I know about the sequel but this one is very good. I am not in this for the graphics; some of the girls look a bit too young for my tastes. I am not sure I will go through all the paths. The little sister (Ritsuko) looks like she's 15 or something and it's a turn-off for me. Not a 100% no, but "meh" thing. Is there anything that gets unlocked if you complete all the paths?
And I don't mean secret harem routes etc; I know that's not in this game. I mean more like ... part of the story for completing Ritsuko too that you don't get to see or something.
I guess all their family drama would be in Ayaka's (big sister) route too.

Regardless, the attraction each girl has on the main character is very believable.
What I find unbelievable (I am at chapter 10, it happened in chapter 6) is

EDIT: After all that happens and the downright hostile attitude of the Headmistress many times over and the luke-warm support from the student body, I would have walked out of the school, let it go down the drain by presenting what I was forced to go through to the papers since I was now having a crapload of money and just meet my friends from there on their forays out or demand to visit them in school from time to time.
To hell with integration; if they didn't want to have men and face the music of the financial collapse it's on their heads.

The main character is the victim here caught between the progressives and the traditionalists. I would leave them to sort it out themselves.

I plan to. I don't care what the "spoiler" thing you mentioned is, I am interested because you said she had the best path.

Also, when do the paths start to diverge strongly? The version of the game I have for some reason skips even unread text despite of what I do in the settings.
As such, I'll have to know which chunks are different else I will probably skip over large parts.

Make a save at first choice (in order not to play again), after 4th choice story changes. I am not sure which chapter was the one but if i had to guess , i would say between chapter 15 and 20.. But you must choose the same girl 4 times in a row.

First question is no, there is no additional content with headmistress. She is out of picture.
Second, there is no spoiler behind of her actions. She is doing everything for the sake of the school. That school is more important than even from her family.

Indeed it is, Ayaka's route was lovely.
On the other hand, i want to give you a fair warning about Ritsuko's route.. Headmistress will be total bitch more than ever.. Prepare yourself I know that you don't like both Ritsuko and headmistress. Therefore, i wanted to warn you. I personally wanted to kill headmistress so badly while playing Ritsuko's route.

Believe me, she will be real deal as antagonist while playing Ritsuko's route. You can count on headmistress!

My complain is the long "oh hold" any kind of story development in Ayaka's route around the time they started practicing for sex. Practically nothing, except foreplay, sex and after-bed sweet nothings happened for 2 whole chapters. I thought something may happen (like the Headmistress barging in or an emergency or something interesting) so I didn't ctrl-skip much of it and had to sit through a lot of "moooooch-aaaaah-mak-oh-it's-soooo-big!-moooooch-aaah-oh-your-boobs-are-sooooft!-mak-moooch" stuff.

I've been playing this game for 8 days, amassing about 20 hours without seeing a boob. It should be clear to the developers that people interested in naughty stuff or even sweet pillow talk, would have turned away after 20 chapters, so the target audience are those that are there for the drama and the story.
A few naughty scenes peppered along some story (like the chapter 23 H-scene during the ball) would be better IMO than amassing the whole thing with nothing else for 2 chapters.

At least at chapter 23 we get more info on the father and other stuff about Ritsuko, so I am more hopeful that the novel will turn to something more like the quality it had pre-chapter 20 + sex (which would be awesome).

EDIT: And chapter 24 with the revelation was awesome again.

I also really liked Misako's flashback; reminds me of Rose and Mitskuki. And Rose is from Tokyo too... hmm... (No spoilers please)

Well, having finished both Ayaka and Ritsuko (I am in Chico now) I liked Ayaka more, quite more in fact. For me, Ritsuko's story was mediocre to flat until a very good couple of last chapters. Ayaka's was good for 8 out of 10 chapters.
So... overall Ayaka's story was better despite Ritsuko's final two chapters being better.

Also, while the Headmistress went above and beyond in Ritsuko's path, I actually found her less horrible than in Ayaka's path. That is, still very horrible and strangable.

All the headmistress is missing is a twirly moustache and a white cat sat on her knee. Such a cartoony Bond villain.

I have to admit, I found myself skipping a lot of what was happening. When things get too dramatic it stops being fun and this VN's biggest problem is it piles on the drama. One thing is dealt with and something else comes up only it's something that could have been solved there and then but one person or another won't talk about it so it drags on for a few hours and you can rinse and repeat that several times per route.


Drama is great when it's not predictable and done in moderation.

It's a shame because it's really good in a lot of ways. The MC can be a bit slow at times but for the most part he's really good and male MC's in these games is usually my biggest complaint. Not here, he's got a good body the girls like, he's not hard working, he can fight to protect those he cars about and he's not dumb. Sure he's slow with regards to romance stuff but he's new at that and picks up pretty quickly but all in all he's a great MC.

The girls are all fantastic. None of them are perfect so it makes them believable characters and none of the routes were terrible. Granted I wish Ruriko had a route considering how close she gets to the Mc but she gets hers in the fandisk so I can complain too much.

My only issue was too much drama not enough fun stuff. That and they went too far with the headmistress. Yeah, she's supposed to be a bitch we hate but she goes as far as endangering the entire school during the culture festival and by then we've left the path of VN antagonist to the realm of chessy over the top Bond villain like I said.

It felt like the drama took too much focus rather than seeing bonds built and character growth. It was literally finish one drama filled chapter to start the next.

I'm picking on the drama in particular because, apart from the 2 sisters routes, the drama isn't gripping stuff. Like I said above, it's stuff that can be solved by one or more persons saying something but they drag it on for an entire chapter to the point of frustration and that's why I found myself skipping stuff. The focus had shifted off anything meaningful, the drama was at the forefront and the girls were doing something pointless that could have either been cut and the game shortened by several hours or changed to add some fun on top of the drama.

It just seemed the drama outweighed the fun and it wasn't good drama.
