I don't think it's in a bad state, i actually really like it. i think people are just mad he "abandoned" the first game. and with him starting over it's gonna be a while before meaningful content comes out, and the cheapest tier you have to wait 21 days for content to be unlocked.
The problem is just the lack of updates or communication. I let my sub run out
The update was so ass. That's why I didn't bother to leak it. I just deleted it and unsubbed. Maybe it will be a proper game in 2 years but I don't know. ATP it's just copying the first one but it's more incomplete so not even worth my time
working on 2 games at the same time, and one is part 1 of this game, while the other is part 2.
big mistake, i am telling this dev to put princess in the tower 2 on hold, and finish princess in the tower 1 first.

triple a studio's can pump out multiple games, cause they have entire teams working on 1 at the time, no more than 1 per team.
if you have 27 teams working on games, you can pump out multiple yes.
when your on your own, work on 1.

his reputation as a dev is going to hit rock bottom, and the game's get abbandounded cause no fonding to make them.
his stuppid choice of thinking he can do more work allone, than a triple a studio is going to be his downfall.
even indee studio's know better than that: "expedition 33" for exemple, 1 game 1 team, no 2nd game till it was done.
So far looks like only 1 paid subscribed on subscribestar and Patreon has 241 paid members (with 4$ being the cheapest sub) so odds are before patreon gets w/e their cut is. It is bringing in over 1k a month easily xD

idk, i kind of disagree, people were upset PT1 got put on the backburner, before anal, but he literally just updated the anal stuff not too long ago. idk what was updated in .7 of PT2 though.
he also has the money he made from everyone on itch
The dev is just all over the place. First it was an overly ambitious roadmap for the first game, thinking he could go from a very rough beta state to a final product in a couple of months was... retarded.
Then the solution was "oh I will just disappear for a few months and then come back with a lame excuse, ditch the first game with the actually attractive princess and swap in a new shittier version with a way less appealing LI - WCGW?"
...Plenty could go wrong dude.
Now apparently he's trying to kind of work on both version 1 and version 2 simultaneously?
Smart money is betting that we will end up with 2 incomplete abandoned games, when we could have had 1 decent one if he just stuck with what he started.

no one realy knows.
game 1 isn't even as far in progression as game 2.
and game 1 is part 1, with game 2 being part 2.
so yeah, have fun wondering for a very long time.
both are curently in development, at the same time.
don't ask me why.

I don't remember the exact reason, but pretty sure it's because the princesses virginity is important, or some kinda curse? i know it tells you and is a pretty big plot point, and i'm positive you can literally take it off in PT1. i mean the synopsis of the first game literally says " You step into the shoes of a goblin enslaved under the malevolent witch and you are forced to prevent the marriage of a princess. The princess is protected in the tower and bound there until her wedding day. "
that's the point of the first game.
is has quite a bit of information on both the curse, and the chasity belt.
unfortuanly, not all information is being told.
part of the first game is to remove the belt, and to do that, we have to understand the curse.
most of the lore is given in the first game, wich is still in development.
point of the 2nd game is to prevent her from getting married.
so the completion of game 1, is very importand for the setting of game 2.
this is why i don't understand why work on the prequal and sequal of the same game at the same time.
finish part 1, than do part 2.
you can have a script for part 2, that information will help to keep the story of part 1 consitand with part 2.
but working on making them both as playble games at the same time, is just being evil to youself.
as both games will get you comments to work fatester, or being a greedy dev for long waiting times and low content.
wich as we all know, has been the downfall of many potentialy amazing games getting abbandond and the dev not continou's this carrear path.
while my comments may seem harsh.
they are with the best intentions, for i would really like both games to be completed.
this is why i strongly advice to put game 2 "on hold", and finish game 1 first, than continou working on game 2.
the experiance of making game 1, will aid with completing game 2 faster.
and causes less stress, cause you don't have to micro manige both games at the same time.
Download the first one, it has more content. This one doesn’t even have any good content, just a few poses for five hours of grind gameplay.

there is indeed worth in downloading the first game.
as for the complaining we do, it is to let the dev know to follow the correct path, so both games will see compleetion.
non of the complains are about the games themself.
we hope the complains reach the dev, and the dev understands what we are asking.
both games currently hold potential, unfortunaly the work method for completing them, is causing us doupth the games would be completed.
this is why we are asking the dev to understand our pleas, and actually follow them.
non are meant mallicies or hatefull.
they are made with both concern and respect towards the dev.
from my perspective at least.

I did everything I could in 0.6.2 version and didn't see anything and dunno if I missed smth or what?

Pretty sure this game is either abandoned or on hold. He took a step back to focus on the first version of the game.
