Why does the link also provide an uncensor patch? I thought the original DOS version was already uncensored.
I don't know myself. I downloaded it from there with the patch, applied the patch and ran it with Dosbox.. but the game itself seems completely G rated. Not even a hint of nudity or sexual situations. I played a number of years, but it never changed. Just a normal management game.
It's like the Hot Coffee mod. The content is already in the game, but when they released they decided to go a more family friendly route and locked the content away. The patch restores the content. The "Refine" version has the adult content removed entirely, making the patch (which is just something that unlocks events already in the game) ineffective.
The game, by default, is relatively family friendly. The patch restores in a few on loss rape events during adventures (only on a few special fights, not on just any one) that were removed and adds in the special shops (but you STILL have to put in a cheat code in-game to get the special shops). Those have things like a "nude" dress and pills that affect breast size. That kind of thing.
There are also a few other spurious scenes that the patch adds back in, like going vacationing at the beach during summer becomes a skinny dipping event when your daughter gets older. I'd say most of the more adult scenes don't come in until your daughter gets a bit older. Still, this isn't a porn game as much as a game with porn in it. If you don't enjoy the genre I wouldn't go to it just to fap.
Edit) It's easy enough to look up, but if you're lazy and want to know how to unlock the special shops: Go to town, press F12, R, N, and Q at the same time, cancel out of town and from then going to town will have a couple new shops.

I've been wanting to play this game for a while, but I still don't know which version I choose.
I don't care about the old DOS version graphics, but I even like the new version to have the characters' voices. But if it is to play with erotic cut scenes I would not have the new one.
I remember playing the DOS version a long time ago and the beginning impacted me quickly, I hoped to turn the girl into a total whore but the initial opening lit up a divine light in me and had made me want to take care of her normally. The funny thing is that a few years ago I tried to play both versions, new and old, and that impact didn't happen again. I don't know what has changed, or if it's my impression.

No, it's not missing the incest tag, the "Refine" version doesn't have any of that stuff in it. Read the thread, Refine has all adult stuff stripped out of it, all the cheats etc, not even a patch for it can replace it.

Hi, this doesn't seem to work and it keeps flagging the steam_api.dll file as a virus. Could one of you guys help me out?

The steam_api is probably modified so you can start the game without owning it on Steam. Some antiviruses will see things like that as a threat, you can't play the game without one though.
Samething is happening for me, but the api I use when I upload games is working fine so try that one if you want...

They're not really adult games, but the original versions did have a bit of risqué content in it that was cut out for the Refine release. Again though not allowed here, due to the girls age.

That is still in this version of the game, but the loli nudity removed. You can still raise her to be a dominatrix or whore, and even marry her yourself in Refine.
