This is like, weird. I think items are meant to disappear when you pick them up but the developer seems to have forgotten to actually make that happen so all the paths are just, not possible to enter? Is it just me having this issue? There's one fight you can enter and you kind of have to use the cheaty "fus ro dah" skill to win it because you're severely underleveled. It looks terrible too.

Mario is Missing- Peach's Untold Tale. Yeah, it's pretty decent. Lots of levels, plenty of replayability for the most part. A bit buggy, but it's not their primary project IIRC. It's on the Legend of Krystal forum, so I don't know about "ripoff"? Normally a ripoff is just re-skinning a project and claiming it's original, but this uses completely unique story and models, just the same source program/inspiration as far as I can tell.

Seems like most projects that include Princess Peach get nuked by Nintendo the minute they gain some notoriety. Guess we'll see if this is obscure enough to avoid getting chewed to pieces by either the artists whose work they stole, or nintendo themselves

The original, super unfinished version of Mario is Missing is from the same guy that did the original, not-quite-as-unfinished version of Legend of Krystal.
Guy's name was Playshapes, iirc, and he basically said that he'd not finish the games but others are welcome to continue them, dumping the source code.
Both Legend of Krystal and Mario is Missing now have a few seperate versions from different teams that took the games slightly different directions.
