cuz weve been Unity devs for years..Why u dont use RenPy?
Sure we are!.. whole 13$ worth of patreons at this point .. But for argument's sake.. let's say we'll update once every two weeks adding a sprite and a couple of sentences... what could said gamer say bout the state of the game after 3 months..Am I the only one who feels like devs are trying to be sneaky and snag Patrons when they do the versioning with date format?
It's like "Look! It's not v0.1x! I must be creating plenty of updates because the number is big!".
And even if it isn't that, why in the hell would one try to create a different versioning nomenclature that tells a potential gamer zero about the current status of the game?
on the other side.. let's say you see a date nomenclature... there is no misunderstanding bout the game being in active development..
