Sad this game has a particular lack of canine-like enemies (Wolves) but overall even without it I would say this game has a good amount of potential though yeah it is without a doubt one of the harder games I've played

Not sure why the game is so small, I wrote a patch to make the game 2x more zoomed:

[Mod] assembly-Csharp.dll

Extract it in the game directory so that it overwrites the file "assembly-Csharp.dll". It will only work with the game version 0.0.4, do not try with other versions or it will make the game crash.

Changes:
  • Default zoom level is now 2x more
    • Press X to switch back to old zoom level
  • You can now struggle by pressing the arrow keys
  • Pressing Esc no longer closes the game
  • NEW: experience gain ~3x faster (sorry but the game is impossibly hard even with it)

UPDATE 1:
- Fixed a bug where sometimes pressing X after sex would zoom more than intended
- Increased XP gain (levelling up is 3.33x faster and gives more skill points)
- Now includes cheats

also, did you guys try to use the corruption reduction potion ? it says it's supposed to reduce it by 10, but it's reducing it by 1, that might me a bug.

Yeah, default controls are just barely functional. I just can't rely on using left shift on anything time-sensitive (for some reason, my left little finger is much less flexible than right one), and it's a dodge button, which here means the difference between life and death.

As for slimes, yeah, they're indeed good source of early farming, noticed that too; they're just as fragile as any other enemy, but much easier to manage.

Wasps, on the other hand... I'd probably need a save wipe, because I have the starting zone full of wasps, who stuff me full of eggs spawning more wasps faster than I can kill the old ones, and those persists after restart.
Slugs, not slimes for early training, they're easier to tire out. Easy way to deal with slimes and wasps early on is to keep your distance and move perpendicular to them so their charges miss. When they run out of stamina close in for a hit or two, then get clear again.
For slugs they also have a charge but only use it when they're terminally close, however they spend stamina while moving closer to you to use that charge- so you can agro them, make distance until they tire then close to punch. Just beware the huggers, they don't move unless aggroed but have a high aggro range and are very hard to dodge. Best to just avoid them.

Like many unity games, you can find the saves in c/users/name/appdata(hidden folder)/locallow/diogaoo/alice. Not sure which of the 4 files is responsible for offspring, possibly meta? you can just delete all 4 to wipe the slate clean.

I indeed meant to say "slugs", somehow confused two words. Actual slimes are more lethal, while slugs are very slow and lack the rapid-fire leap attacks (speaking of which; the wasps deserve a special place in hell).

I personally consider huggers worse than wasps. Wasps may be faster, but their charge targets where you are, for the most part, so just keep moving out of the line of charge and you're golden. Huggers seem to aim based on where you're moving to however, so unless you change direction fast they'll hit you even on the move.

There's a dog enemy mentioned in the save file. Editing it to spawn one through birth spawns a slime though. Probably hasn't been added yet.

Great initial release!
Some constructive feedback;
  • Love the art style
  • Movement and combat feels solid though dodge mechanic should add a window where you can't be grabbed
  • Arrow keys should also work for struggle, they work for movement but not struggle
  • The game over is tied to the corruption stat which is hidden in the menu, anything contributing to game over should be on the main screen
    • Speaking of game over, to be honest I see you are going for a roguelike but honestly I think for this type of game that is a mistake. My personal advice would be to have a game over either at 100 corruption or with a new stat mechanic (submission trait maybe?) but then that game over triggers a game over scene and after which you are restored back at start losing only your gear and currency but not your abilities and attribute points! So this way you have the loot element of a roguelike but not the stat grind. Mind you most roguelikes don't do stats the way you have done. These types of stats would normally carry over each run and instead it is just the abilities and special stuff you loot on a run that you lose
  • The h-scenes are top top tier, really love the animations and love the fact you already have an animation where two enemies can grab you at same time (small orcs) and love the fact some enemies like the small orc and large orc have two different animations (bj and sex)
    • My only feedback here is on enemies with multiple animations rather than making it a random roll, it should be directional. So for example frontal grab for bj and rear/side grab for pinning sex animation
  • Key bindings need to be able to changed and the escape function needs to have an option to disable it or to swap escape to instead open the menu rather than instantly close out the game. I kept accidentally pressing escape to open the menu or to close the menu
    • There also needs to be a button to close the menu within the menu itself rather than having to go all the way to bottom left to close the menu
  • Items need to be purchasable and sellable in larger stacks, perhaps for stacks and consumables instead of a single click being a single sale/purchase it should open a slider to say how many you want to buy or sell
  • The night mechanic is okay but a few issues;
    • Just having same enemies at night but higher level isn't that great it would instead be nice if enemies change at time of day. So bee area at day bees, at night the flowers. Northern forest at day the slugs at night the spiders and small rolling things. Eastern forest day time bees and slimes, night orcs etc.... With only then boss area keeping same boss regardless of time and across the board no level/difficulty differentiation between night and day. So enemies in each area should be a fixed level rather than scale with the player and at day and night their levels should be same but you can make night enemies harder so in my example with the orcs at night in eastern forest if bees and slimes in day are say level 1 to 10, night orcs can be 5 to 15 for example. With boss then staying same level day and night. First boss should probably be fixed at level 20 or something
    • There also needs to be a way to skip time at the starting point, maybe a campfire?

A few bugs I found so far;
  • If you have eggs and pregnancy at same time and happen to give birth at same time it bugs out and you are stuck and have to go to menu and save and exit and then continue back from save
  • If your inventory is full you can't open the menu and it duplicates the items because it keeps trying to pick them up, I ended up with a stack of 1000 tentacles and 1000 wings as a result lol!
    • For anyone stuck with this bug just run to vendor and sell some items and the stuck items will then go into your inventory albeit heavily duplicated
  • Escaping from spider sometimes bugs and leaves a duplicate of your character where you were grabbed
  • Boss sometimes seems to spawn moving tentacles, only got this attack triggered once, but these are bugged and also leaves a duplicate animation behind after you escape
  • Not sure how many h-animations boss is meant to have but I only managed to trigger two; one with the moving tentacles that just loops endlessly and one with the boss grabbing your character and again it is just an infinite animation with no stages to it. Not sure if placeholder or bug?

Some wishlist for the future;
  • Honestly this game can just be expanded as it is and it would make for a great adult game but below is just a few things that in my opinion would make it even better
  • Human settlement to interact with would add a lot to this, with an inn to sleep at (select a time to skip to), a pub to work at for extra coins. The sleep can cost gold though so if you don't have it you have to either sleep in innkeeper's room after working for him or sleep in free shared room. You can already imagine what happens in free shared room and in innkeeper it depends if you accept beer during your shift, if you did then you can imagine, if not then a peaceful sleep). Since this game is all about pregnancy human pregnancy might be a no due to patreon and stuff but you can have a magical element that human pregnancies convert to fairies or halflings or something when born due a magical curse on the character? Who knows, something fun can be done if you want to avoid falling foul of patreon rules. Granted even orc pregnancies might already be too much for patreon anyway
  • Human settlement can have other stuff from quests to other interaction opportunities for side jobs, shop discount lewdness and other h-animations
Anyway keep up the great work! Regardless of what you take from above I look forward to seeing the future of this project it has a lot of promise and if you continue working on it you will get my sub for sure!

This game is probably one of the best in terms of the insect tag. I'm really looking forward to its development. I hope they add an endless mode where corruption doesn't end the game.

Are there plans to release the game on Steam?

By the way, are there any plans for class-based progression? Like a summoner build where children would be by your side and protect you. Or a class that would become stronger through corruption? Will there be a choice of characters with their own backstories?

I will keep this in mind but it's tedious to maintain multiple versions of mods, as I will need to update both after each game update. Do you mean the actual cheat keys, or the xp increase? Because the only cheat that is non-optional is the XP increase, and imo it is kind of needed as the game becomes very hard when played with 2x zoom

Corruption is the purple portion of the lust bar, as it grows higher, your minimum lust grows higher (you cum at 100% lust, earning corruption), and you get game over when it reaches 100%. Some earnable kinks give you means to earn corruption without even cumming. Menu shows the exact current value. By the way, the expensive corruption-removing potion removes only 1 point of it, while costing 50 gold.
