VN - Ren'Py - Project Myriam - Life and Explorations [Ch. 5.08a+p] [Zorlun]

Gotta give this game a 10/10

Pros:

-Story is engaging, interesting, uhh hot I guess. have yet to feel bored. I did pass over the weird content mainly because I wanted to focus on the main story and there was already a lot going on.

-Visuals- probably the best looking 3dcg game I have played. Beautiful mc and characters. Good stuff.

-Kinks- I don't know how wild things get since I haven't checked the weird stuff. But the variety is quite good. I'm pretty sure your choices give you decent control over what you see in the game in terms of kinks.

-Choices- I appreciate the variety of ways that the MC can react to situations. Being able to just let things happen or be more dominant and commanding.

-Stats- the stat notifications and being able view the mc's scores are much appreciated. Wish that all games like this gave that option. Helps with understanding where the mc is at and gives you the chance to go back and make different choices if you don't like the points/kinks/stats gained.

One thing I wish is that the mc could defend herself in the earlier parts of the story. Like she is tall, in great shape, Olympic gymnast, so I think she could have totally taken the men who assaulted or tried to assault her(not in the sexual way. But like in the beat their ass way). But it's not that important and I suppose helps in building her character/story. Not saying that people need to be in those situations to develop. No not tryna say that at all never that. But in the sense that I see how it contributes to her story and stuff like kinks and therapy. Great game.

It's not exactly good, but it is exactly porn. The game announces itself loudly and proudly from jump, quickly establishing a pervy stepson, a brute husband, and potential sexual assault around every corner. Its perspective is almost entirely informed by gonzo (read, mainstream) porn. It's just edgy enough and just empathetic enough to aim for those of us whose brains can still squeeze some dopamine out of watching a gangbang.

To start with the positive, it has a nice, robust attribute system with lots of skill checks, giving the player the illusion that the game hides myriad unseen treasures, that if the player can just get the MCs cum addiction high enough, there will be a pot of gokkun gold at the end of the bukkake rainbow. Furthermore, despite the frequently punishing situations that Myriam goes through, the game remains a celebration of her submissive sluttiness. The game wants to punish, and humiliate, but it also wants to see her cum. There is some real humanity in its sexual domination fantasy, and by giving us a sense of control over Myriam's sexual escapades, it can't help but build some relationship between the player and the character.

But that control is almost entirely meaningless. Any attempt to push Myriam toward an alternate path quickly reveals that this game cares about Myriam in one context only. Trying to play her as dominant basically reshapes the game into a feel-good family drama for teens, like Seventh Heaven but with less sex. It is simply outside of the game's scope to imagine Myriam having any sexual agency, much less any dominance. When Myriam does actively want something, that desire can only reach the level of, "Oh, why not."

Some of that is the story, sure, to go from "No, I can't" to "Oh, why not" and hopefully eventually to "Yes, that's mine." But to try to create the storyline within the confines of the game negates content rather than unveiling more of it. There is a big gaping void in this game that is all about filling a big gaping void.

And what is there isn't exactly immersive. The writing isn't strong enough to create a believably human character, and often doesn't seem to be trying to capture an atmosphere at all. From the flatly lit but occasionally pretty art to the writing that spends more time on sound effects than dialogue, the game is largely functional, a means to an end.

And sometimes that's all we want. As a way to get off, the game is relatively decent. Pornified though it is, it isn't some bleak portal into one author's hyper-misogynistic goon cave. That's pretty rare among games that feature this particular combination of tags, and that alone probably deserves recognition. It's always nice to be able to get off and walk away guilt-free.

Just three stars for me because it started off so well but, somewhere along the development timeline, the devs lost the plot (or hoodwinked us into thinking it was something else) and the player lost control of much of what Myriam was doing. She became the city cum bucket. After too many unavoidable scenes which I'd much rather have not seen, I dumped it.

Here, you the player, find yourself as the MC, a straight voluptuous mom of 2, wich the author decided to be constantly sexualy harassed and raped by males.
The author puts you in a fairly naive submissive female ... if thats your kink, you find it here.
Besides there is NO sexual (incest) with Katherine the loving and beloved daughter you constantly get love affection with, but with no purpose.
The author Zorlun explained why:

"Every character has a role and purpose in the game, Katherine has hers and it's one of the most important in the game towards Myriam, she's the beacon of hope and love to her, she symbolize the relationship that will never go or change, whatever happens in her life, the unconditional love between mother and daughter. This is why there will be no corruption road for Katherine and why I choose to not go even in the potential love interest road between the two, because they don't need it, they love each other and will always be there for one another, I wanted to keep this as pure as possible.

What is beyond strange explanation, for a porn game, as he is by no means a Hemingway or Lovecraft.

Update: I had to update to 5 Stars! This game corrupted me and soon as I got over the mistake to hold back on the idea of submission beeing all bad and see Myriam as my doll for use to play the fantasy ... this totaly hit me like a truck.
It is necessary to free yourself from restrictions you would well apply in real life to enjoy this game to its full potential!
Maybe as I enjoyed overcoming my restrains "using" submissive fems, I hope the author overcomes the restrains put on the interactions of Myriam and Katherine.

I am one of the few that finds this game meaningless and uninspiring. The main reason is that the dev forces the MC to go down the path of corruption and sluttiness, without a chance to establish at least a meaningful temporary relationship, not to mention a permanent one.

Without any dignity whatsoever, she tirelessly climbs on one dick after another, gladly accepts gangbangs, and then goes home to masturbate. The story has no purpose or a thread to follow, just meaningless sex over and over.

A very impressive game. It offers a lot of different kinks, an interesting and engaging story and a lot of options for you as a player to choose Myriam's path.

Add to that frequent updates and timely communication from the developer. Definitely in my top 5 list of erotic games, and no 1 for the development cycle and releases. Well worth supporting and has a nice community on the Discord server.

To be honest, I thought MC's face was ugly at first , which made me a little bit unable to play, but because she has a pretty good figure, a tall blond busty MILF, so most of the first part was fast forwarded, and the subsequent development was completely beyond my expectation. Unexpectedly, I even enjoyed it very much. I could choose various perverted routes, and there were even dogs, horses and aliens, which made me very excited. This is very different from other H games.

Don't pay too much attention to MC's face. In fact, you will be very excited, and the reasons for development are not too superficial, and may even be persuasive. And you can also choose to be loyal, or terminate your debauchery at any time. The only pity is, Without animation, it would be perfect if the MC’s face could be made more beautiful! Looking forward to more surprises!

This was a real pleasent surprise. For some reason I thought this is a generic gangbang heavy slut simulator before playing it, which is definitely not my cup of tea. I'm really happy that I gave it a try. Although the mentioned themes are truly part of the game, but it has a really diverse set of fetishes and what's even more important: the writing is truly exceptional. In additional to that (or in close relation with it?) it has a good story and choices that matter, which is really important for a porn game. There's a lot of content, the dev obviously cares about the project.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this game is one of those few where it's justified. One of the best games on the site.

This used to be my favourite game on this site, however...
...I played this a few months ago and the amount of content was impressive, it covers a lot of kinks and fetishes. But my problem with this game now, is Myriam herself. She can have sex 3-4 times a day and she still goes home to masturbate...her sexual encounters start to become meaningless...there's no 'afterglow' and no downtime or reflection or satisfaction between scenes.
I'm maybe not explaining it very coherently...but content has been added continuously without any real context or meaning behind it...she goes from sex scene to sex scene with hardly a thought.
Maybe I'm just getting old.

very regular updates, with a good amount of content in each. very good graphic, the story line is quite entertaining lots of options for you to customize, along with the usual mods to support additional options, artworks great along with the animations,

The explorable choices and branching storyline are better than in any other game I've seen personally, which is nice since the player should be involved as much as possible.

The game offers many different sexual kinks and perversions to explore through its variety of characters Myriam gets to interact with.

Visually, it looks very well done, with good renders and attention to detail for both the characters and their surroundings / environment. A few more close-ups and POVs during the sex scenes would be highly appreciated, though.

The narration and dialogues are also professionally written.

The bestiality scenes are a great feature, so please more of those; maybe a little more knotting (and gaping) for the dog scenes and close calls (and getting caught) in general, as mentioned in other reviews.
More on that subject (not really part of the review):
In my opinion, it'd be great if Cassius became even more dominant with Myriam (with more back-to-back pussy and ass action, or joining in her bed, knotting her and getting stuck inside overnight, etc.), while she remained conflicted about it, often prompting an "End of the line of events" option to emphasize her mortification and allow for more player agency. On the other hand, it would also be exciting to see more of Myriam initiating a sex scene depending on her lust / bestiality meter (instead of being mostly passive to it), thus leading to more kinky and risky choices and adding some variety to their interactions. Finally, maybe a dog - horse gangbang... Anyway, these are just suggestions, so feel free to ignore them.

Closing, I believe the more narrative paths a game offers (especially during the sex scenes), the more fun it is, and 'Project Myriam' definitely has a lot of them. Even those that aren't important to the progression of the story still make the game feel more engaging and less like a slideshow. I'd love to see even more.

It took some time to warm to Myriam and her look but the character was developed well - nice and slutty is how I like it.

= Decent Bestiality, the horse scenes were good overall but the dog scenes were lacking, figured there would be more knotting /stuck/gape/messy pull out moments. Could also be fun if Evelyn or another character caught her and got involved with Myriam and/or her furry friends.

= Your choices can alter future content, which is great mostly but sometimes it prevents scenes you'd be more interested in seeing but can't due to scheduling conflicts. A warning about those would be great or a chance to skip one event for another.

- Rushed or poor pacing at parts
- Lack of control over Myriam's Kinks. To see content you want, you have to meet the Developers vision of a proper numeric value.

Why not just have a tally for choices made if that score is intended to alter Myriam later? Removing the requirement for the scenes shouldn't break anything? That said, the trait system ( Myriams attitude/feelings ) fits mostly, though it too could have requirements removed and just alter her over time?

In the end I just used saveeditonline to boost w/e " MCkink" I wanted by 100 and the problem was solved.

Myriam is living the impossible dream. Being a sex-crazed slut in a world with no true consequences. Anything fuckable is game.

One of the few games where bestiality is somehow a turn-on. Never imagined myself lusting after horse-cocks.

A lot of the typical VN tropes you're used to, but reframing them from the Milfy mom's perspective makes them quite fresh again. The personality RPG mechanics are interesting, but may be a bit ambitious and might end up just routes with extra dressing in the end.

Renders aren't the best I've seen but not the worst either, has that overly bright flat lighting look that is common to these daz VNs, but the protagonist and the situations are usually hot enough to carry it.

Miriam because of this story and her choices, via the game mechanics, allow for often plausible consequences with meaningful impacts. It is up to the player to mould Miriam into the path of your choice to a large degree, how slow/fast you wish her to succomb to life choices. Many "stats" and the well constructed mechanics let you choose her paths. The game is exciting, imaginative and very naughty. If you like corruption games, then you should love Project Miriam... this VN offers so much, Brilliant game

It's a visual novel with an entertaining story and gets the fap done.
Good quality renders, the kink mechanic is interesting and overall you surely will get a good time when playing it.

Love MC design and measurement.

I have to say I didn't get bored. It is true I played with the walkthrough mod, and I mostly clicked the dialogue away, but Myriam was doing something at every turn.

What I liked:
1. Myriam herself is not bad looking.
2. Her female friends weren't ugly either.
3. The dudes were not all rapists, some were genuinely nice.
4. The action was satisfying and by developing her stats you could see a lot and that would also develop stats.
5. There is not much pointless clicking. Just a few clicks and the next scene comes.
6. Some content is skipable, and that's a good thing. But I liked most content anyway.
7. Being able to get rid of the husband early in the game. It just doesn't feel right that such an adventurous woman has a husband nearby.

What I didn't like:
1. sometimes model's faces contort in some unnatural ways, especially at the beginning of the story, whenever they are talking to each other.

There is not much animation, but I'm not that interested in it. The game could also get some TS content. Also more BDSM content and swinger action and corruption of other people by Myriam.

This game is a really fun corruption game. I do like how you can either be a submissive woman who is constantly forced into sex or a dominant woman who chooses to sleep around. I just wish that if you go the route where is beaten down and forced, she doesn't feel pleasure from it. I really like diverse characters and how many you can choose to interact with. There are, however, some things that make playing this game a bit tedious. First, the devs decision to always write out sound effects is so damn stupid. We can see the MC is crying we don't need a constant "sob sob" or a "muah muah" every single time there is kissing. Like it makes it seem like a 12 year old wrote it when every kissing scene (and there are a lot) has like 12 to 15 instances of "muah muah" as the only line of dialogue. This stretches out the already long lines of dialogue unnecessarily. Also the dev overused several stupid porn game tropes. I can suspend disbelief a good amount especially for games like these, but this dev is just using the same ones over and over too many times. Like how many times can a person forget or not realize they're naked. The MC has so many instances where she is topless or naked and just doesn't realize or remember it for some stupid reason. I can forgive the instances where it makes sense like just waking up or being drunk but when she's the one who took her own top off to sunbathe, she should remember that it's off. The MC tripping or falling into a person then it leads to sex trope is also used a lot and sometimes there is no good reason for the MC to fall, she just does. Another thing I wish devs did when they make a game like this, and this goes for almost all games like this, is that if you're choosing to make the MC become more slutty and open to sexual exploration she should slowly stop with the whole "oh my god I can't do this or this is wrong" dialogue. It's always so annoying when the MC has chosen to show off her naked body to everybody, has been gangbanged 12 times, fucks in public, and still says "I can't do this or am I really going through with this?" Even if at the beginning they are sheltered, the more you do something the more comfortable you should be in it and this should show through the dialogue or lack of dialogue. There are so many good things about this game but sometimes they get overshadowed by the stupid things the dev has decided to include in the game.

I had to edit this to add another problem I have with this game. The point system needs to be reworked. You miss out on the option to do a lot if your lust points are too low and the only times to raise it before are through being a submissive pushover. Now, I have played that way and that's fine, but if I want to play as a dominant woman who chooses when to sleep around I have to miss out on events just because I didn't let myself get raped? It's pretty early in the game too and the number of lust points you need is so high. There is a similar problem with trust and cum points as well and probably others. Playing as a dominant woman should let me choose what I want cause that's the whole fucking point. Also there are times when I feel there should be lust points awarded but they aren't for some reason. I really considered dropping to a two star rating but I'll keep it at three.
