Don't take what I say as word of Zorlun here, this is me just assuming the reason based on what I've witnessed in the game. But the priest scene was just a set up for one of the fantasies that Myriam can have. So it's unlikely to happen as it was... kind of a throw away scene? That seems harsh, but I'm not sure how else to describe it. It's not really a part of the story, proper though. But of the fantasy scenes the priest has been the only aspect that actually resides in the real world and not the mind of Myriam (though I guess technically both the Alien and the Mummy are real), so he does have a chance to come back, which is why Zorlun didn't outright dismiss the possibility.
As someone theorized Marc never was a full on real dom, and as I said a few times before, Marc contrary to his father had a glimmer of hope of not becoming a full on asshole. The shock of what he went through with the fight at court and then Myriam getting shot kind of jolted him out of his dom act out (without even mentioning the possible kick in the butt during the pool event).
It's just character development, but that doesn't mean that's the end of a dom Marc, he'll get back some confidence, but yeah, he will not go full on asshole like Anthony (at least not with what I have planned for now, but things can always shift as I work and get inspired).
Glad to hear you enjoyed the start of the game, I won't give too much spoilers as you didn't finish the last version of the game, but Anthony get his comeuppance in the future.
For the "gross shit" as you say, the game offer a lot of choices and you can nearly always avoid naughty scenes (though some choices can have some unforeseen consequences later on).
For the cop dates, depending on choices made during the first double date, the situation can evolve in four manners, no more double date for starter; another double date (which end as you saw); or with dating one or the other, which can be called off later on or pursued. And yes, no spoiler there, they are both asshole each in their own categories. ^^
Just time as I wrote the game, it was an idea I had to mix in the possible secondary plot lines, but as the game grew and I felt I could cut on some content to advance on the game more organically it was one of the thing I felt I could cut the easiest, being one of the more out of flow with the rest of the game (not counting "weird events" as they are actually really out of the game itself and have no influence on the rest).
But nothing set in stone, if I feel inspired or find a good moment to make it flow well with the story, I'll get back to it.
In my opinion one of the best Renpy games i have ever found.

I would say yes, but honestly till know I would say the "vulnerability" in question has been linked more to either trust or submissiveness, in terms of "forced choices" (or better, less options).What does the sadness trait effect? Are there scenes where Myriam needs to have a certain vulnerability level to let someone take advantage of her?
I don't remember any situation yet on which sadness had a decisive influence to the options available - but I may be wrong.

), but no luck, they were meant only as a plot element.About after, well, if I remember well, it is not impossible that even in that case they may come back, but if you want to be more sure that will happen, you should do the necessary step before so that she has that second date either only with Danny, or only with Mike .
In that way, if you choose to go till the end, instead of cutting it short, it is more probable that she will have something more to do with the cop in question and in the case of Danny, probably not only him, he kind of hinted it already, plus he clearly has no problems in sharing her (and one never knows, could be also again with Mike, although Zorlun had suggested it was planning to make the cop paths mutually exclusive from then onwards), while in the case of the date with Mike, it is possible to end up with something similar, depending on the choice of the player, but it is more of a choice of Myriam, although I don't remember anymore if I would consider it a fully conscious choice .

As understandable as this may be in "a modern woke world" as Disney is propagating it these days, it's definitely not what I expect from a hardcore porn game that started like Project Myriam did. You were presenting us a naturally submissive Myriam (I may remind you of the high school scene with her teacher) and you offered us with every update "new choices to make Myriam more our own and write her story". But this doesn't really feel true any more. Myriam is departing from the submissive path no matter what our choices are. She gets way too confident, even too dominant for my taste. With every new chapter you are heading away from the original Myriam. She even submitted to the judge not because this is her nature but to "get back" Marc. Character development is important, but it should follow the player's choices.

"Project Myriam" is a great game and I am very impressed by and grateful for your seemingly unlimited dedication, Zorlun, but I don't like the direction Project Myriam is heading to. I understand it's difficult to please everyone's taste but why offering the choices to shape Myriam's development if she's getting one of those modern "strong women" anyway?
You can be submissive in your sex life, doesn't mean you got to be submissive in your real life.
The game is called Project Myriam Life and Explorations which means its about HER life and HER explorations. She's finally free of the arsehole Anthony and is exploring her new life, it's doesn't mean she has to be submissive for the rest of her life to please you. Of course she still has submissive tendencies and she enjoys that part of sex, which is probably why she lets Cassius fuck her because she likes being his bitch, it' why she'll allow Marc to dominate her during sex because she likes it, what she won't do anymore is allow anyone to dominate her in her everyday life.
I think this game is excellent and I'm not trying to nitpick, but I do think that the character previously had the capacity for certain character traits and then that choice was removed later in the game. It's not super common to find a game that has a female MC show that submissive attitude in the way Myriam did, especially with writing as good as this game has. This game had the rare combination of allowing Myriam to have her agency taken away by a dom. Almost all other sex games with an MC who can be a sub just show the sub loving it even as they're being degraded. But Myriam allowed the player to let her be ashamed of it and not want it. It was a cool feature of the game that you didn't have to experience if you didn't like it. But now those who did enjoy it are being told they are wrong to want it? It's a porn game. It's not about Myriams life and Myriams explorations. It's about the player and the players explorations. And if the player wants Myriam to go through something that's the thing Myriam should go through. This game even includes bestiality to that effect. If you don't want Myriam to be dominated in her life outside of consensual sex, don't choose that for her, but don't take away other people's ability to choose the opposite.
I know the game can't have every single kink and choice under the sun, but this one actually had a path that was somewhat rare and drew people in with that path and then took that path away/changed it significantly later. I know Marc is supposed to be different because he had a glimmer of hope that he wouldn't turn out like Anthony, but it's not a glimmer of hope if he is DESTINED by the author to turn out nothing like Anthony. In a game with this much player agency Marc should be able to be saved from becoming like his father, but he should also be allowed to follow the same path as his father, instead of restricting him to a more narrow spectrum of possibilities. It just makes his character and the game by extension less interesting to remove this type of content imo.
Again I like the game and Zorlun is killing it with the writing/art/etc. Please don't take these comments as anything other than a constructive criticism from an enthused fan. I'm just saying that at an earlier point in this game I felt like I was in control of the range of options for Myriams life, I couldn't find the boundaries in terms of what I could do/couldn't do. But as the game went on I felt more and more like the dev was in control, I ran into more things I wasn't allowed to do, and it takes you out of the experience to feel that way.
Alright, by now I'm guessing this is yet another game with no actual fucking femdom in it, right? Seems every choice that raises her dominance stat is the non-sexual option and the sex positive responses boost her submissiveness or exhibitionism. I agree that Marc has become quite wimpy, at this point in the story, but I do think that it makes sense for him to feel remorseful for his previous actions and sympathetic to Myriam, given that he just witnessed her being shot by his father, especially given that he was sort of emulating his father's behavior.
That being said, I, too, hope to see Marc regain his confidence and once again "take over" in his relationship with Myriam. But I'm willing to see that happen gradually, though I hope it won't take too long.
According to some of the comments in this thread, there's a variable called "top dog" (or some such thing) for Cassius in the bestiality content. If that variable is active, Myriam no longer gets the option to say yes or no when Cassius wants to fuck, at least according to the comments I've seen posted here. The scene just happens as a timed event. Of course, that only happens when the player has opted in to that sort of content and has made certain choices in past events with Cassius. Or perhaps it's based on Myriam's submissiveness score. That sort of content isn't really my thing, so I haven't looked into the particulars, but I'd be in favor of something similar for Marc's dom route. Either based on Myriam's submissiveness score, or based on certain previous player choices, I think it would be cool if, once Marc regains his confidence, Myriam no longer opts in or out of his scenes, but they just play automatically.
I'm totally fine with Marc not going full-on asshole to the extent that Anthony did. I had no problem with Anthony's content, and would have no objection to more content with him in the future, but I do think that Marc should care for Myriam in some way, and that there should be limits to how far he would push her. My own preference would be that Marc be caring toward Myriam outside of sexual situations, but that he treat her like his property when he's having sex with her, or when he's sexually harassing her in semi-public situations.
One thing which stands out to me is that, since Myriam's return from the hospital, even though Marc has been able to act dominant during sex, Myriam has initiated both of their post-hospital encounters. That makes sense, since Marc is still badly shaken, but I do hope that he will begin to initiate again, as he recovers from the shock.
Edit - Now that I think of it again, Myriam has had just one encounter with Marc since the hospital. The other one I thought of was the scene just before she got shot.
I'm not convinced of that. I think it is probably still down to player choices. But I guess time will tell.

There is a little bit, but it is very limited. As you say, most of the dominant options are refusing sexual situations. Myriam can be sort-of softly dominant with Marc in one or two scenes and that's about it.
There is another female character introduced who is explicitly dominant, and in the latest update Myriam can agree to a date with her. But the way it is presented Myriam seems likely to once again be on the submissive end.
The tag rules say that any content in the game gets tagged, and there is a smattering of very light femdom, so the tag is accurate. Storywise, the justification is that Myriam has been trapped in an abusive relationship for years and is only just starting to spread her wings and explore her own sexual desires, so submission comes much easier to her than seizing control. You don't have to buy it, but that's the pitch.

I commend the so-called player agency of tailoring Myriam to be the kind of character we want her to be, given all the choices. I know that took a lot of effort and it's impressive for someone's first game. But this has a bad case of men writing women. And when that happens, we usually get women being portrayed as one-dimensional characters who can't do two things at once. Like be dominant and horny at the same time. Much less be dominating someone and getting off at the same time. What makes it worse is something I mentioned earlier, the real stink of a male writer. And that's how even though it's a female protagonist, we still have to read all the perverted thoughts of the men around her. Because I guess they matter, huh? How many times do we need to see some dude going "Oh man, look at those tits! I wanna grab that ass so bad," etc. Rinse and repeat as if her sex appeal needs to be reinforced by them every five minutes. It's annoying as hell and totally unnecessary. This is supposed to be her story, not theirs.

As it sounds now, you're statements are inciteful. Also keep it mind, it is his First time doing this. He's learning as he goes and he's been Very nice in his responses to his audience. If the games that you have come across have storylines That offensive to you, why not do what I've seen a couple of females do: start your own story and introduce it here. Other good games are writen and produced by women straight away.
