stuck on shego quest 6, it says "a week after last quest go home". tried going home at different times of the day but its not working. any help?

try sending me your save. Kinda sounds like there's something that has gotten fucked up, and I should probably fix it before I get 19.000 different reports on this one

Thank you. I should note that even after I fix it manually with CAll("p", x=0) any scene there the main character is on the right, he'll stay on the right in subsequent dialogue.

Sounds to me like there's an issue with resetting the characters... Hmm.

And I'm like 99% sure whatever the issue is won't be something I can replicate lol. Lets see.

Threatening to essentially kill Good Shego if she don't put out is probably one of the most evil things Senior has done, and would make his canon version proud.

Nah, its good. I found the problem.

Although I'm a bit uncertain with how people wrote this... Is the problem exclusively that senior didn't get put in the right spot? Cause I fixed that part. But people also say something about being on top of text, but that seems to be working correctly

It's not a murder anyone would ever be able to figure out lol... Kinda hard to say that someone is dead when they are still alive and walking around.

For me, it's explicitly that Senior stays on the right. Whether that be over or under another character, that remains to be seen. By the time I saw your message, I already have a save right before the problem. In this case, Senior is above other characters when he's stuck on the right. I just assumed that that's the issue people were talking about because it looks like he's a layer above the people and the dialogue. But it's possible that other people are experiencing a different problem. From all my years of doing tech support, I can firmly say that people suck at describing problems, let alone tech problems. Maybe asking them for screenshots of the problem would help too.

Since I already did the screen recording and have the save file right before the problem, I'm putting it here for reference and, if you need it, as a test case to make sure the fix does actually fix the problem. The video will show how I reproduced the problem and the result. The save is the same save I loaded in the video.

I figured out the solution to the senior problem at least. For some reason his X position didn't get reset when everything else does. I guess he doesn't move that often, so people who just played the game from their last save didn't see this happen.

Which is at the LIES quest and step "9) I am going to let her throw herself at me until she realizes what is going on. Continue with school."

Redownload the game, the mods have updated the files. Now it should all be fixed ^^

Well you did fix the MC appearing in the right corner of the screen alright, but it wasn't the main issue, I can certainly deal with sprites overlapping each other sometimes, as it doesn't hurdle my progress. What does tho is sprites of for example Junior in the bedroom or Ron in the cafeteria standing right on top of the textbox like this:



Which prevents me from reading the text. I can send you the save file where it happened the last time for me if it's helpful.

I don't think junior is ever supposed to move from the right side period.

i was stuck on that quest and was able to progress when i did small talk with bonnie. i think that may reset something allowing the quest to trigger the next step.

Try sending me your save. Based on the code, you really should just have the camera in the store when it tell you to buy it
