That makes sense~ I guess what made me change how often I release updates is that I wanted to make something people genuinely wanted to play, and I wasn't really happy with it before I began the overhaul.

Then later, when Overhaul Part 1 was released and didn’t get any feedback, I took that to mean it maybe wasn’t interesting or different enough from what I’d already released before. So I went back to working on Saeba’s overhaul and focused on taking my time, making more improvements I thought it needed; or just sounded fun, so I could hopefully show everyone something to get excited about! I'd feel kind of bad giving everyone another version where you mostly just run around and test combat again.

But, I really do appreciate your interest in it! ^w^ I wanted to finish or overhaul the physics before Part 2 at the very least, and I’ve also wanted to eventually add more to it to make it more interesting, like NPCs to talk to; quests or story beats to complete; or even an overhauled city area in the Patreon version, so people get a fuller picture of what the game is meant to be~

Realistically though, Part 2 of the overhaul does have to end somewhere, and it has been a while since Part 1 was released! ^w^;;
If people would really like a new version a bit sooner, and don’t mind that it’ll basically be another combat demo, I suppose I could try preparing Part 2 as it is now, and continue working on the rest of the overhaul after that.




I guess I do prefer using my Discord server to communicate with people who follow the project, since that’s where I feel the most comfortable~ When it comes to this place, the feedback here is very helpful, but a lot of the reason why I don't visit here often is I honestly don't really like to visit hentai sites, so I don't really come here in my free time... But I do understand that not everyone uses Discord or Patreon, and there are still people here who are interested in Saeba~ so, maybe I can try posting here from time to time if it would make things easier to follow.

ya understandable if you wanted to not come to hentai sites. honestly i rember trying this game when it first came out and all foes where women that tried to strip you? might be a little fuizzy but that build combat was difficult. this build those it was nice to see it change more foes more locations. but i do miss that charm of clothing destruction by the femails

But as the story develops and new areas get introduced, I definitely want to bring them back in ways that fit the world better~!

I also remember there being a table you could get bent over on.

again could be my memoery being wrong but i thought they were bunny girls. or that was wishful thinking

Honestly, from the beginning there has been a setting to have certain enemies attack other ones, so easily a girl enemy could attack monsters and the monsters could attack them back~ the only thing is at the time it was added, it was too easy to interrupt them as a third party and come out unscathed. So, to make the game more consistently challenging, enemies were set to only attack the player, temporarily. When human enemies are added back, that interaction will need to be-examined ^w^;;

Also, I do plan to try to add the Dynamic Situation system back at some point! I'm constantly brainstorming more interactions other than tables, since I would like them to be varied (it can't always be bending over things) and fit their respective environments (maybe vines would be more appropriate for a forest, for example~)

I think I said something about that in the past but I do want to say it again, I hope we get to have some fun character customization.. being able to pick our ears and tails would be amazing, along side our outfits. Maybe also some color choices would be fun too. Honestly the game is alot of fun, and if I had the cash id already be sending cash on patreon to support ya.
for now it is best to focus on the main game and how it works ofcourse, so make sure you take your time on that part.

TBH, I would like 2 see a mar open world experience instead of 3D side platform style game in the provided v1 demo. >w>

Suggestion(A0): And I hope your demo gets expanded open to have at least the first boss encounter be4 putting a brick/neon shield wall up with a sign saying sumthin along the lines of "Thank you 4 playing the demo, please help me stay motivated 2 develop dis game by subbing to my patreon where you can get access to the game stable releases and/or midnight builds. :3", would go a long way 4 U.^w^

Suggestion(B1): If sumone posts a PIR build on here U can either [Let It Stay] (I prefer dis option because not many of us can afford even coffee r8t now with how dis economy is going and dis a pir site 2begin with), [Warn em], or [Delete it and warn em]. >w>



---Feedback on V1 Demo---
So far I like the game play from V1 demo, I seen on UR patreon 4 V2 WIP, will wait 4 the V2, and 2 strained on money r8t now 2 sub 2 UR patreon(If I had a a decent job and money I would most defaintly sub 2 UR patreon). ^w^

Suggestions(C2):
> I would prefer mar camera options, like an toggle option 2 disable side viewing of camera and stay in open world style. ^w^

> Better AI path and thinking, like sum AI npcs would try 2 flank you while UR busy fighting other enemies. :3

thanks for your feedback~ ^w^ actually, being able to hold the magic button to aim your fireball could be a nice addition meow~ Lock on is planned as well~ a zoom function is planned, but didn't make it in time for the remake alpha. A skip task button could work for the new tutorial When it comes to the ecchi animations, I am curious about what you mean by "lacking"! If it's something like animation quality or sound effects, those can be improved meow~ ^w^ The overheat activation animation and high heat breathing animations are going to be replaced with higher quality ones in the next version, as an example meow~ it seemed that people really wanted to try the remake, and I felt bad delaying it even more, so those animations had to stay until the next version

More areas and enemies will be added, of course, among other things~ :3 But for this remake, I focused on gameplay mechanics and making the new 3d combat, movement, and other new mechanics feel clean and satisfying and smooth. I'm satisfied with gameplay now, though, so the next version should have more to it meow~

When it comes to the bugs you pointed out, that rebind menu is actually a prefab I haven't quite had time to replace yet~ I hope to make a proper, homemade options menu for the next version~ Also, yes that light in the tutorial is a bit weird. XD but I figured, since that entire tutorial is meant to be replaced anyway, it wasn't super important to fix meow.

When it comes to the "delay" in the tutorial, there actually isn't any delay~ it counts your actions, immediately as you do them. It's just that you have to walk into a certain area before the tutorial will advance to the next task~ ^w^;; It's the old tutorial system that's been there since before the remake. It makes more sense for a sidescroller. ^w^;; I hope to replace it with or upgrade it to something a bit more modern for the next version, but we'll see what I have time for~ meow

When it comes to whether you would pay for it right now, I think that's fair! :3 I want to keep improving things until people feel it's worth supporting~ ^w^

Also, it seems people really want the girl enemies back. I understand meow~ I really have been thinking about how I want to reintroduce them into the game. When the project started, it just didn’t feel like they belonged there. It basically looked like I randomly placed them there without much thought meow~ They attacked the player for no reason, ignored the monsters around them, and the monsters ignored them too. And as the project improved, it made less and less sense for them to behave that way.

I’ve always planned to reintroduce them somehow, but they’re mages just like the main character, so their inclusion needs to be consistent with the world I’m building~ That’s why they were temporarily removed.

umm~ that said, it has been a while since then. Luckily, I’m satisfied with the gameplay now, and the remake works well, so maybe this can be one of those things I focus on next meow~

Wat I mean by Lack of anims is during the H Scenes, the ideas I can give is, better quality(which seems like its been planned), during the animation at end where it loops back around use a variable dat get random numbered between 0~5 or 0~10 ever time the action ends, which starts a new animation with little change 2 its positions using the CASE method, next U could make animation start slow and depending on heat bar fill meter U could make it speed up, also the both the enemy and the player takes minor dmg at middle of each pen thrust of sumthin like 0.1% or 0.01% of max health, then during Heat Max(Climax/Orgasm) in-game time slows down by half as another animation plays dat is not conencted 2 the heat bar animation speed up mechinism, and next add sum partical effects 2 the climax/orgasm like sweat on MC and/or semen on MC n Monster privs(the liquids does not have 2 be white or blue btw, like in my prototyping game I made my liquids like saliva 2 be HotPink and semen 2 be Violet Purple). =>w<=

As 4 introducing girls in2 UR game, hmm I never got 2 see em or don't remember em, but I can give a few pointers, like 4 enemy girls U could have em as monster girls, example - since its in the forest U could make a bear girl with red glowing eyes, plant girl dat uses vines, and etc like dat which when MC first encounters one she says sumthin like summary of how those monster girls became corrupted by the enemy's powers so it blends in 2 the enviroment well. ^w^
And on another hand U could make a village or town(safe areas) where MC can heal faster when sleeping and maybe put a few special npc girls in dar4 sum funnzies, and sum certain npcs walk around the village or town outer paramatar 2 gaurd it against enemy atks such as the MC running away from enemies chasing her. =>w>=
Also they don't all have 2 be girls as sum people with certain fetishs likes Futas as well. =>w<=
(The monster and npc girls could be configured 2 atk other monsters or npcs as well dats not their own kin. :3 its all about the npc tags if U use tags in Unity. >w>)
As 4 mages dat U mentioned, could make camps or shrines around the area in certain spots(not 2 many) where they spawn at and patrol, on first encounter with em the MC can say a plot line of how these mages are named the Fallen Ones, since they have similar ability 2 the MC, and dat would be a noice intro of how they came 2 be. :3

If U need mar ideas or context on sumthin just let meh know, I seem 2 have a small nack 4 prototyping plots n story lines LUL. X3
