I don't know if this is relevant, but it reminds me of Koei Tecmo, the company behind Dead or Alive. After using their female characters to create Beach Volleyball, they made the gacha game Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation (DOAXVV), where players spend money to pull various revealing, erotic swimsuits. Then one of their managers actually had the nerve to claim all the female characters were his daughters, banning pornographic mods or fan art. It's utterly ridiculous and ironic.
