Oh fuck - I was working on a game with similar art as well but reading the comments on here makes me not want to continue it haha.

You can have a good game with bad art, but you'll have to work harder at making the game part interesting. Its also hard to fap to bad art, unless its with chibi sprites or something where fine details are not as important. Frankly if your art skills look like the OP's then using rpgmaker/wolfrpg and focusing on sprite sex might work better for you.
