Devs are dropping an update where they are nerfing the gun at the final area, on the discord.
Anyone here experiencing a bug where whenever you survived the "being late while travelling", the screen just goes black?

I should specifiy that it's the gun that shoots your pants off before the final boss. Not the weapon.
In Glistening Streams (The First Explorable Area) Head in the direction of the Spitter Lizard Cave then follow the stream down where you first encounter the charger. Take a right and you'll find another charger guarding a cliff. You'll need 3 Braided Ropes crafted via Tree Bark or found throughout the area to rappel down to the Lurker Cave. In this next part you need to search the main area where the lurkers are for a Barrel and Exploding Seeds. On the other side of this map you'll see a gigantic white lizard. When you get near it, it wakes up and hides with a silhoutte telling it's above you. If you have the stuff you'll see some sparkles next to it where you can create and place down the bomb. hit it, and the way forward should be clear. Jump down the waterfall and you'll find the Fisherman. The Fisherman is a Friendly NPC who will teach you about, well, fishing, and becomes a merchant who will sell you bait and Buckets for a modest price.
so does anybody know what's up with extra weapons/armor that i cant seem to find after finishing the game (act 1 so far)?

Nay. What you saw is the Accessories. Basically when you complete the quest needed to unlock the Trapper's Faction. You'll get a couple of things. The most important one being Latex Fitting. But in order to get those, you need to go back to the Tonics Lizard and give him the item you found when you rescued the Matron's Underlings. Next time you approach him, he'll tell you he now knows how to disenchant your Cursed Gear and gives you the accessories case. After that you can start collecting Accessories. When you max out your Renown with the Trappers, you'll gain access to the Full Body Latex Suit Accessories and be able to purchase the Whip. You can wear every single Latex Accessory in the game and each one Buffs your Stamina by 2%.
The game does provide a myriad of ways to better improve the grind. Farms to autogenerate specific materials starter mats, rice to make Max HP buffing/healing food, plenty of vendors, and Speed(Blue)/Item(Green) tonics to make farming and exploring much faster. Gear that boosts your stamina and dashes, etc etc. Im ok with the grind honestly since it kind of trains you to get better and better at each run like a Speedrunner.

OK, now I can gush about this game and tell everybody how I plan to adopt Kivuli. One of the worse parts about the Adult game industry is how it feels like no matter where you look, you're bound to end up with what can best be described as "Shovelware". Most of what's available is kind of in-offensive, their just glorified RPGmaker stuff or PNGviewers. While others will last you a good hour or two, not really making you waste time. But then you get VN's that never get finished, beat-em-ups that get replaced by something worse, or even ones where the dev is never satisifed with what he produces so he just keeps remaking the same thing over and over without ever making a single ounce of progress. Regalbuster and Sirlzike may not seem that different from the pack right now. But one thing's clear, they absolutely fucking cooked with Prowler. Even though it's only Act 1 and costs 9$, I firmly believe that this game is already way up there with Oh So Hero! as the best M/M Furry Adult Game we've gotten since then.
Prowler plays like a vibrant mix of a top down zelda game mixed in with Monster Hunter Upgrade mechanics. You KO enemies, get their stuff, forage for goods, try to make a little progress in the story and then move on to the next day, rinse and repeat until one of your tasks is done. It's great~ Once you get to know the grind a little better, you'll be zooming through the zones getting a variety of things done while making a good amount of progress each time in an almost zen-like experience.
And there's a story in this game, a damn good one too. Kivu feels like his own man, not some half-assed, silent protagonist that you can barely relate to, Not some slut that's purpose built to get spectacularly fucked into a cum soaked oblivion, Or a faceless MC that does whatever YOU tell em to. Kivuli is a man that's barely awoken to his sexual desires, his only meaningful experience being the time that he got captured in an extremely lewd rope trap and needed his senior to rescue him. Kivu's journey is both incredibly arousing and empathetic that you are actively participating in.
I love how being a horny bastard in this game is a double edged sword. Sure, you can let Kivu get captured and ravaged until he's too fuckhappy to wanna continue the journey. But doing so will not only break everything you have, but it will also have the chance of getting you stuck with a permanent debuff that can only be removed with a paid service in the middle half of the game.
The game encourages you to get Kivu to save his people, while also preying on your impulses to give in and fulfill Kivu's craziest, sexiest fantasies. Which can make the game even harder.

I am getting this bizarre bug where the game runs at like, 5 fps the moment I load a save, regardless of version. What the hell is going on?
Guys I'm somewhat trapped in the game. First, I can't find where is the Matriarch from the swamp quest. And second, I must find Rubbery Slab and Flatspring to craft the remain items to make the gun. Please, can someone solve my issues?.

you forgot to mention the tools in this game are super disposable meaning its 1 time use, so better build more tools before you head these areas and especially unlocking chest in swamp area.

IF you're running into issues and you're using Windows 11, follow these steps:
1. Download the latest 64 bit version of nw.js from here
2. Drag the contents of the nw folder into the Prowler folder
3. Delete the old game.exe, and rename the newly pasted 'nw.exe' into 'game.exe'.
4. Run the new 'game.exe' file
