Assuming someone is kind enough to drop it, then yeah. But in the future I will 100% pay for it since these devs are awesome. Living to see another day is more important than porn at the moment.

wonder how many systems from the first demo are staying, i personally didnt mind the "explore, loot, craft" loop.
I assume everything is gonna stay. The devs didn't appear to toss out any features in Grove.

From what I've seen on the discord, this game is apparently going to be the dark souls of gay furry porn. Yeah right lol
I dunno it was pretty easy since the enemies were weak, but that might change. Plus the new armor break stuff might add challenge.

People nowadays just braindead and stamp "soulslike" onto everything, it literally just a Buzzword now.
I don't think these people even know what that terms stands for anymore.
Not every dark fantasy is "dark souls", Not every Combat-Action RPG is "dark souls", Not every game with hard combat is "dark souls".
"Soul-like" refers to a very specific type of game that features highly punishing but down-to-earth "heavy feeling" combat, with amazing environmental story-telling. so you won't be distracted by plots when you're immersed in the brilliant gameplay, while still able to enjoy a great story as you progress.
Prowler as fun as many of its mechanic is, doesn't have any of the feature of a soulslike.
Prowler has no hit animations, blocking, precise dodge mechanics or quick slot items usage. So in terms of moment to moment gameplay it probably is not a soulslike.
The demo gameplay is basically venturing into enclosed adventures with randomized (I think so, partly?) map tiles, fast real time combat and gathering.
The randomization, story progression and potential loss of items remind me of roguelikes.
I really wish I could support the devs, new trailer looks awesome and grove is one of the best furry rpgm games out there. Shame I can't use paypal((
