So, I've completed the game (loved it, looking forward to Act 2). But the only thing I haven't finished is Kai's final fishing quest for the second relic fish in the Savannah. Have I just been unlucky in not randomly getting the room where a river divides the areas and there's a river cave or have I not recognized it when I found it?
yea that ruin fish us rng as it appears on the first map that has a fence on the upper left side that said maybe you need to come back later. after going up the jumpimg part and coming down to the river, go to the wall on the left side where the river flows through. the spot itself is fixed but the first map changes constantly therefore i said rng
Aha. I wasn't thinking it was in the initial areas that aren't technically a part of the real map yet (since the name plate doesn't come up until the next room). Thanks for the help!
I got stuck there too for a while until I realized that this was meant to be the tutorial to show you that those two little feet marks in the ground to the upper right of your character are meant to depict jump spots. You can jump up onto the cliff if you stand on the lower one and do your dash upward to the upper one.
Just tried downloading the file and ran it through Virustotal. It is showing that the file has a backdoor trojan. Is this a false positive? Didn't even decompress it yet.
Some weird obscure backwater security scanner with a hair trigger gave you a false positive. 2/57. Have you ever even HEARD of Nano Antivirus and Jiangmin?
I cut the tree, destroy generator and pushed "crate" up to pylon 7. There i got stuck...
Then I interacted with glowing "core", which spawned second crate, pushed to place and disable pylons 4 & 8 to got through.

I think you misunderstood the meaning. In first line I explained where I got stuck in post #349.
Then I explained, somewhat figuratively, what to do next if somebody got stuck like me (pretty much answering my own question, silly me).

I was more condescending towards the "weird obscure backwater security scanner" then you. I got scared, too, the first time I used those virus scan websites and got a hit by one of them.
Presumably a jump spot from further up on the screen. You can see the foot imprint just above the chest that you'd jump to. Or that's to jump down once you get up there and there's a different way up further to the right.
So I got curious and downloaded the official game demo, v.0.113, from itchio.o (Same game.exe executable) and I got the exact same trojan warning from this website you linked. Now, I doubt grove dev put out a virus...
For some reason, plenty of itch.io downloads set off antivirus systems claiming there's Trojans. There never is. This is far from the first thread around here where someone claimed there was a Trojan in the download file.
