Can anyone help with a little handholding? Spoiler tags if you must... I've been playing for hours, day 22, realised there's a grind to the game where you probably have to train your psychic skills and keep trying at the points you were previously blocked. But the game just doesn't advance fast enough, it feels pretty boring. Considering the high rating and opinions I've read here, I must be playing the wrong way. Should I just power-pump my skills instead of trying a round through the city every day? And a very concrete question: do the narc effects mean there's an actual hard time limit to finish? I'd hate that it were so...

im not sure what you mean but if you are taking about the brain thing you can calm it down with coffee or tea at the store

Well, there is a 0.99.4 version in my HD, but it is mostly small fixes and attempts to provide some in-game hints without undermining the fun of discovery.
The only new content planned is the cafe at this stage.
I do plan to release that when I have either completed the cafe or decided to simplify it. A coupleof months at most.
Keep in mind that the very first line of any sort of code and/or story I have written is in this game. The main problem is that I experimented with several devices and systems, and basically took on a massive project without knowing how. I think the current result is OK for an absolute beginner, but I accept the criticism I have read here and in the home thread (on TFGames) as valid.
I have another game already coded, but which needs writing and pics/art. It was ambitious in its own way, but less forgiving to errors.

I am the dev for this game yes. I tried to do that, (see further up this thread), I had no response from admin and nobody seemed interested. I don't mind either way.
