Honestly, there is no fun in this scenario. It seems more like an enormous laziness on the part of the developers to create well-constructed scenarios from the Cyberpunk universe or even include one of those beautiful scenarios that are in the drafts presented for the game project.
For example, the ones below that I will post that were presented at the time by Eromancer.
They have creativity, but the willpower to show the public that they liked the creation of the game and its supporters unfortunately does not have it to this day.

It looks good on the surface and all but I can't wrap my head around how this is making so much money while its barely into version .1 unless head dev knew the right people.

because it has "normal gameplay", H games generally don't have "normal gameplay". even though this games gameplay is as basic as humanly possible. I think the people desperately wants an H game that also feels like a "normal game" as well, so they're hedging their bet, despite the dev scamming them.

This is the newest version that has not yet been posted here. I'm curious to know who still has a SubscribeStar account to reveal to us that Eromancer has been posting useful posts there for those who donate to the game's development. Because I canceled my account after I saw that he just keeps messing around with H animations and doesn't bring anything from the game. Using the excuse that it releases long monthly progress reports for SubscribeStar followers. Anyone can write nonsense to say that it does something, now show something concrete like a video even if it was recorded on a cell phone, for example, showing how difficult the original game is becoming. This way, it would be better not to even make a Hentai game, but rather a normal beat 'em up game until it was finished and then release it as Extra DLC for those who wanted to activate the game's Hentai mode. This way, it could even be released for consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series.
To be fair, I disagree that the hentai in hentai games should just be afterthought that can be switched on or off with the push of a button. It needs to be properly integrated with the story and gameplay so that it all feels cohesive and not just be an X-videos gallery slapped onto a regular game *cough*Subverse*cough*.
That being said, there is a shocking lack of "game development" in this game. I swear the combat feels practically the same as when I first played Pure Onyx all those years ago and like others have mentioned, there still isn't even a SINGLE proper stage that feels like it belongs in an arcade beat-em-up game. Not to mention the complete lack of dialogues and storyline of any kind.

The problem is that Eromancer is showing more than the game is just an X-video gallery of 3D dolls of walking H scenes. The gameplay is the same as the first test version, nothing has changed to improve something that is very difficult to move the character. Whenever someone asks him, where are specific scenes or a current video showing the progress of the original game, he makes up the excuse that doing this will take a lot of time to produce the game, so I ask... It's also a waste of time posting videos of H scenes from the supposed game on Twitter isn't the same thing?
Why don't you separate two teams, one to produce the game and the other to make the H scenes? I can't believe that in the past 6 years no one has complained that this game is at a standstill in its production instead of just drooling over the H scenes, because wouldn't it be better to release a hentai anime than to waste time preaching a supposed game that doesn't come out of its version of Test where we only see updates of H scenes and nothing else.
In a little while it will be 10 years and Eromancer won't finish this game, because there is a lot of money and sponsorship, now willpower I see is in another story.
I really liked the character Onyx, her art, visuals and stunning graphics and the game itself that would make it one of the best beat 'em up games today, but as long as he's just lazy about making videos of 3D dolls style X- video to satisfy the hentai-blind perverts on duty, the game will unfortunately never leave a simple trial version.
I just checked how much an anime episode costs on average and it turns out you can get a good quality episode for around $100k. I also checked how much money Eromancer has made over the past 6 years on Pure Onyx and was stunned to find out that the amount between Oct 2018 and Jan 2024 just from Patreon ALONE is approximately $700k (they also got a good chunk of money every month from Subscribestar for a long time before their Patreon got banned + some money from itch.io).

So it turns out they could have actually funded a decently-sized anime series with the amount of money they made lol.
Instead we got what's soon to be a 1-million dollar tech-demo with some pretty hentai scenes sprinkled around.

You know the craziest part about all of this? Pure Onyx was supposed to be a simple side project pursued alongside Malise and the Machine that was easier to make/update and tide people over as Malise was being worked on. Can anyone honestly say they believe any significant progress has been made on Malise in the last six years? I would gladly take the opposite side of that bet.

Maybe? Then again, this game really does have the vibes of being AAA in development and visuals lol.
I don't really see any qualities that isn't superficial that sets this game apart from others. If I want to play a regular side-scroller I'll play the kino that is Double Dragons 2 or wait for the new power rangers game, and I could just wait till the scenes are on r34 or grab a save, and I can't really comment on dress breaking since the first thing I did was sell my clothes to cut down the grind and gameplay is a slog. I can at least respect believe the talent that goes behind the presentation, so I could believe people thought it looked good and invested money in it for that reason without looking any deeper.
