Nah, the game can be finished, the real issue is just that they ain't having enough manpower to get the job done right.

You can clearly see there is love in making this game. its something out of nowhere just beacause.
Calling this a trash,is something else.
The game is not a trash, even in the current, it is playable, and the visuals are amazing. Doing all that with low manpower, is impressive to get that far.
Its ambitious? damn it is. I might be one of the few who is more hyped this gets complete.

It's either something with f95 and/or OS image codecs.
I've noticed it in the recent months, the only program I was able to open images saved from the site was ImageGlass. I then used it to convert the images and then they open in any other image viewer app.

I change the "Move Speed" (or whatever it's called) value to 1 and press "Numpad Plus" to increase the FoV quite a lot. You can hold "Shift + Numpad Plus" to increase it quicker also. It's definitely annoying and requires some adjusting first to make it bearable.

Here's a quick and dirty video to show you. You can hold shift to speed up freecam actions. Messing with the FoV is pretty key, Hopefully this helps a bit:
