Well. In a time of war, refusing to fight falls into several categories. None of which lead to a peaceable discharge. All lead to jail, or a firing squad.

Nope, that's it. The Innkeeper only teases you. There is no more content in this version.

I think better make protagonist a deserter. Cause he'd be most likely executed for refusing participation in a suicide mission, or at least thrown to jail.

Interesting plot point would be if the PC was not yet declared a deserter, because he abandoned the mission rather than refusing it outright and only later he is marked as a deserter when authorities catch wind of it. Could be tied in with the bridge guard quest line. As of rn she is trying to keep his involvement secret.

How do you regenerate health? You don't seem to be able to rest in the inn.
Only thing is health potions, but those aren't cost efficient.
Will wait for another release to iron out basic issues I think.

Only way to restore atm are health potions and paying the healer
