I like the idea of the game.

However while the quality is good enough the quantity is lacking.

You only have 1 vassal whose ruler you can't change even if you got to war, 1 village that will be rebuilt without any choice of focus (like military or economic), 1 enemy base to assault and 1 foreign town that you can only interact with through the arena fights.

It's not better with your starting town either. You can't do anything about the slums, improve you palace or open your own arena. You can't hire or fire more maids and guards or close down the baths to save money.

There is no way to customize the queen - we get a commoners dress but that's only for a quest. You do not get to spend money on fancy dresses and jewelry nor do you get any gifts, you can't even change your hairstyle - then again without having a CG system that can make these things appear in the sex scenes too it would only be superficial dress-up like in the witch trainer games.

There is not really any social activities like balls and other festivities you could organize or are expected to attend. No petitions only a couple of not too great RNG events (the infamous meteor stab hit that you can't do anything about even if you got gold like a Lannister). No laws or corruption of the kingdom neither through the queen or other parties (balls turning into orgies, serfdom into slavery, churches into whorehouses or the other way around closing down immoral stuff).

It's also all too player driven it's not an issue but an advantage if you don't have much of an army left after taking back that one settlement since you'll just have more money on other things to spend - barbarians, vassal, or southern neighbour, (some don't even exist like rebellious peasants or disloyal nobles) no one can take advantage of that. It's like Skyrim if you ignore the main quest line - no dragons will appear.

Then there is a bit of quality of life improvement like a quest log that would be nice. The recollection room seems to be not 100% complete for example there is a scene with a slum resident that's not listed. I also recall that there were scenes with the trader league in a previous version for which you needed to get loans but I never got it to work I hope they will make a return.

Finally since you use a RPG-Maker style be sure to keep making the most of it - things that appear in menues and dialogue should also always appear in the world - I really liked that the naughty painting you can order ends up in your bedroom and with all areas being more fleshed out walking around in a world that you feel change due to your action will feel great.

why is cheat npc not working?
You should offer more details - Increase Troop Size, Get Money and Give Stuff work for me though I'm still in v.27e, no idea what the "2" option does.

As for new updates - this game has been in the making for over 5 years so I'll just leave you with a chapter from
Taleb's - The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable:

The Character of Prediction Errors
Like many biological variables, life expectancy is from Mediocristan, that
is, it is subjected to mild randomness. It is not scalable, since the older we
get, the less likely we are to live. In a developed country a newborn female
is expected to die at around 79, according to insurance tables. When, she
reaches her 79th birthday, her life expectancy, assuming that she is in typical
health, is another 10 years. At the age of 90, she should have another
4.7 years to go. At the age of 100, 2.5 years. At the age of 119, if she
miraculously lives that long, she should have about nine months left. As
she lives beyond the expected date of death, the number of additional
years to go decreases. This illustrates the major property of random variables
related to the bell curve. The conditional expectation of additional
life drops as a person gets older.
With human projects and ventures we have another story. These are
often scalable, as I said in Chapter 3. With scalable variables, the ones
from Extremistan, you will witness the exact opposite effect. Let's say a
project is expected to terminate in 79 days, the same expectation in days
as the newborn female has in years. On the 79th day, if the project is not
finished, it will be expected to take another 25 days to complete. But on
the 90th day, if the project is still not completed, it should have about 58
days to go. On the 100th, it should have 89 days to go. On the 119th, it
should have an extra 149 days. On day 600, if the project is not done, you
will be expected to need an extra 1,590 days. As you see, the longer you
wait, the longer you will be expected to wait.
Let's say you are a refugee waiting for the return to your homeland.
Each day that passes you are getting farther from, not closer to, the day of
triumphal return. The same applies to the completion date of your next
opera house. If it was expected to take two years, and three years later you
are asking questions, do not expect the project to be completed any time
soon. If wars last on average six months, and your conflict has been going
on for two years, expect another few years of problems. The Arab-Israeli
conflict is sixty years old, and counting—yet it was considered "a simple
problem" sixty years ago. (Always remember that, in a modern environment,
wars last longer and kill more people than is typically planned.) Another
example: Say that you send your favorite author a letter, knowing
that he is busy and has a two-week turnaround. If three weeks later your
mailbox is still empty, do not expect the letter to come tomorrow—it will
take on average another three weeks. If three months later you still have
nothing, you will have to expect to wait another year. Each day will bring
you closer to your death but further from the receipt of the letter.
This subtle but extremely consequential property of scalable randomness
is unusually counterintuitive. We misunderstand the logic of large deviations
from the norm.
I will get deeper into these properties of scalable randomness in Part
Three. But let us say for now that they are central to our misunderstanding
of the business of prediction.

I also found an upcoming game like this looking for city builders in vndb
Mistwinter Bay - . Demo is available on Steam:

Even has the 5 year time limit but there doesn't seem to be any ero-content
and the city building seem trivial too. Maybe someone can mod it - replace
the pictures with something worthy of this site.

how do I unlock the third barbarian event?
You just have to progress the story to the point were the young barbarian leader decides to ally with you - ask him to be a hostage and he'll be kept in a house in the first village you take back, enter it and you'll have conversation options with him offering erotic activities to get the loyalties of the barbarians.

As for progressing the story - simple walkthrough: capture and rebuilt the village, attack the barbarians, clear the road to the south, dress up as a commoner (clothes available at a market stall south of your palace) and win card games in the inn inside the slums to get info on the raiders. Fight in the arena in the southern city to open up the trade again (reenter the palace there when you are ready), keep attacking the barbarians - that's all that's there so far.

The captured after leading the army (also need a bit of bad luck) ones change as the game progresses the last one happens if you fail attacking a barbarian temple so progress towards the end of the story and lose then and there to get that one.

You don't need to win.

I'm happy that it's still being developed - it takes as long as it takes.

Are there any plans for making even more use of other characters like we already got with the bodyguard scenes?
Ruling more from the throne room and sending out your subjects would also save a lot of running around. Could be like the witch trainer game where you manage Hogwarts from Dumbledore's study - people come to you and when you send someone to venture out you get reports/scenes of what happened.

Think army needs to have low morale and you have to try to enter army training grounds, on the right side of the castle, with civilan clothes
