I have the same issue in ep.4

In Episode 4, when the Pool stuff is starting, my Quest is like softlocked.
Quest-Log says, I need to be at thte Pool at Mid Day, but nothing happens (Touch your girl) ... but when I go to the Bedroom in the Morning (the Trigger of the quest before) it triggers again and the Questlog jumps to the next Quest, skipping "Touch your girl". Then this quest is also not triggered, but the Bedroom one does again and skipping the quest again ... etc.

you can just skip this quest:

press cntrl + shift + j : then enter following:

SugarCube.State.active.variables.eventCount=10

u skip this event at least. next event didnt work for me, so i skipped another event, then it worked normally, now bugging again...

Skipping events is a workaround, not a solution.

I really want to play this, but it's too buggy to be worthwhile.

Offline version
For chapter 1 - error to go to pool
*So, I avoided it and Notepad++

(These cheats were used until Chapter 4 where I used 100 (except cash since it leaches for rent) as the variables to try to pass last error found in EDIT 7)
*Then I just clicked on quest - and napped till required time/place *There is a doubling event "My Room w/GF" that happens but who cares... just power on to the end.

*I think it's the end of Chapter1 where " Thank you for joining me on this exciting journey! and asking for money" because after you click on "leave", it asks

"Where should I go now?" options Dad's apartment(brings you back home)/Dad's Office(not found)/Bar(not found)/SinCity (error and then not found) <- To be expected since it is related to Chapter 2 (assumption). It should have just stated that it's the end of Chapter 1 and please go to chapter 2...
*NEW EDIT* After trying "Power Play", now I know where that "so called ending page of Chapter 1" came from, it was from "Power Play"

For Chapter 2 - No picture on first page when loading the html file... There is nothing "scenes/misc/intro.jpg"
*Just started the game so no clue how many other errors this game has, judging with Chapter 1... will see.

**The intro jpg is in Chapter 1 soooooo, was I supposed to combined the pics folder all together???? And then launch Chapter 2 html??? Because under Developer Notes:

To play all the chapters, you don't need to extract and combine files into a single folder. Each episode is designed to be standalone, containing all the necessary files and resources within its own folder. .



If this game is labelled complete then I think I saw a unicorn outside heading to Walmart and it's not even Halloween yet. It may be completed for "online version" but many people prefer having a functional complete "offline version".

*EDIT* Just clicked on Chapter 2 "start"
No pictures on first page when loading the html file... There is nothing "scenes/mc/mc0.jpg" "scenes/gf/gf0.jpg" and on...

I'm going to combine Chapter 1 with 2 with no overwrite and see...

*EDIT 2* - well adding Chapter 1 pics to Chapter 2 (with no overwrite) worked and the end page "leave" just loops the "end page" as it should
*Yeah I did the same Notepad ++ cheats for stats crap - Good story so far but holy cash leaching for rent...

*EDIT 3* FFS - Just clicked on Chapter 3 html (no pics as Chapter2) and then "start" (same)
Will add Chapter 2 (modded with 1) into 3 and see...

*EDIT 4* Quest: Make a plan! <-no pics and no clue where those files would be and that's combining Chapter 1 + 2 + 3 together with no overwrites...
There is no "scenes/gf/3/" folder in Chapter 3 original extracted standalone files.

*EDIT 5* End page of Chapter 3 goes back to start of Chapter 3 (writing this for other people who may want to know)

*EDIT 6* For a completed game my ass FFS - Just clicked on Chapter 4 html (no pics as Chapter2 & 3) and then "start" (same)

*will edit when done Chapter 4 - do not care for the story anymore since I have to fix this buggy completed mess myself... but since I got this far in my report... will power through.

Money: 100 || Morality: 100 || Love: 100 || Lust: 100 || Stamina: 100

Done with this game - DELETED the game off computer -(stuck on Quest: Touch your girl) This game could and should have been all in one html file since it's not a long story to be chopped up into Chapter bits... but still not bad effort to the developer and no way in hell that this should be classified as "Completed" for the offline version. No clue and I'll never know about the "online version" if that one is completed.
