Hi, thank you very much for your review, I should've answered it earlier. If you were following our socials then you should know that this format was chosen for the prologue to set up the things for the main story. This part of the game was intended to be like a kinetic novel since the very beginning.Checking back on this game, it's still a huge clickfest.
After twenty clicks or so, painfully getting a single sentence each time, I press skip - the computer races forward blurting through a huge amount of text.
So nothing has changed. It's still a visual novel where you get a very few decision points, and the dev seems to actively go for as little progress as possible per click.
No H content is anywhere close to the decision points (making it impossible to skip to the good stuff) and a hard NOPE on clicking through dozens and dozens of inane one-liners just to see a graphic.
Just release the gallery already, it would contain 99% of the good stuff and save you wearing out your keyboard... My earlier grading stands.
No, you don't really have to have hundreds of clicks. You might think you do, but you really don't. Having to click does not make an emotion more impactful. And most humans are capable of reading more than one line of text at the same time. Now for the "click-fest". If you were playing and paying any attention to the story, then you should've probably seen a lot of moments where you simply can't put the whole text in just one phrase. Because most of them have a different emotional impact.
I think every designer have his opinion about, I support it, maybe it can be annoying to make a hell a lot of left mouse click+enter+intro+spacebar, but, it helps when you are reading a history and try to comprehend a fictional characters thoughts, sentiments and emotions, otherwise it would be impossible for the readers of a novel and specialty a Visual Novel to understand the meaning of a scene if a bunch of text just appear wildly, I mean, that's something not impossible because there are plenty of games with that kind of format, otherwise in that way the readers must put emphases in the description of the designer to read and make the time enough to understand what the hell exactly is going on into the scene, in other way, you would be playing for the action (if there are battles) or the fap (if is an eroge). I do not know what format they would finally get with the statement:No, you don't really have to have hundreds of clicks. You might think you do, but you really don't. Having to click does not make an emotion more impactful. And most humans are capable of reading more than one line of text at the same time.
*shrug*
I do not know if the whole game would be considered a VN tag or something else or different, I do not know if that's possible considering for what Ren'Py was designed to be, I mean, I do not know if they will implement a combat system later or something but maybe they will need to put a major effort in that, and that's maybe the beauty of games made in Ren'Py, you can see the efforts of developers adding combat system into their games in a game engine designed only for VN, because there are very different and witty and not and exactly standard in every game.... We'll try to do our best to speed the things up! Thank you for your kind words!this game is amazing.. the art is amazing.. I think it's the best game that place us in GOT .. but the updates are so slow..
???if a bunch of text just appear wildly
As I told before, we do really appreciate any advice and rational criticism. I see the point here. All I can say is that we'll do our best to manage the text better. We're also reorganazing some stuff, so I hope it would be better by the next update.???
Where did I ask for text to appear "wildly"? I'm asking the dev to consider reorganizing text into paragraphs. Even bunching together four sentences on average would cut down the clickfest by a whopping 75%!
And of course, when different characters are talking it's okay to wait for the user to click, even if Dany is just saying "yes" or something.
This is not rocket science. This so-called game is mostly a supertanker full of clicks mistaking user clicks for meaningful interaction. I quickly tired, switched on auto-skipping and was amazed at how many one-liners that scrolled past with no user interaction, then got dismayed zero thought had been made to timing the few choices the user gets to make to the H-scenes. A H-scene with a hundred clicks before AND after means auto-skipping becomes useless.
What needs to be done here should be a no-brainer.
But hey, I'm only handing out free advice. You don't need to get it if only the dev does.
Well as you same explainWhat needs to be done here should be a no-brainer.
In your comment what was coming into my mind was the VN Tsukihime from TYPE-MOON series, which in normal moments the MC is speaking or thinking while the game express his emotions (like shitting his pants near literally) and when comes an scene of full action when MC is in full danger... Wild Text appears... Literally, in that game one just came to be like WTF moments when you are adapt or costume to a way of reading and when now the MC life depends on your interpretation of the action, all that you got is an static scene and a whole bunch of text that makes you wonder if you are reading an electronic book or playing a game. The idea of the game is at those tension moments the user must imaging WTF is going on in that scene and if you are not paying attention, skip, sleep or misinterpreting the text, when the game puts you to decide what's comes next you are fuck, MC dies or bad ending. Sorry if i missundertand you, but i hope that examples out there like Tsukihime don't becomes normative .This is not rocket science.
Yes, a game over scene.the tags says pregnancy is there any pregnant content in this game?
Thank you very much! Gonna do our best!the quality of this game is surprisingly solid. normally not the biggest fan of 2D stuff but there are acceptions and this is one oft them. even i would have loved this being drawn even more realistic and detailed its great and i aprreciate the work and dedication.
the fmc (who bet everyone knows) looks lovely even i personally think she could look even curvier. but i liked the choices and the fetish with the old creep. the ending was interesting. i would have loved more ending of this storyline but it was still hot. even some sex scenes repeat a bit and i hoped for more angles like different view points on the sex scenes. but nonetheless best GoT porngame so far in my opinion. and i look forward to more keep it up!
