This game is not at all what one would expect. I didn't follow the developer that closely because I didn't particularly like his last star channel game, but after 3 years of work to put out a game like this? Disappointment.

This is definitely the worst of Akabur's large game releases, but if you're really desperate for another game by him, it might be worth your time.

Despite the negative reviews, I was really hopeful that I'd still enjoy the game, since it seemed possible that many of the game's negative points wouldn't bother me much (My favorite Akabur game was Witch Trainer, which had very few CG's and a lot of repetitive content, so I thought this might be disliked for similar reasons).

I personally disliked Star Channel 34 quite a bit (I thought the game was an indecisive mess that felt directionless and incapable of committing to any consistent plot or mechanics), but I have to admit that I still largely prefer it to this game.
Although the quality and direction of this game are definitely more consistent than Star Channel 34, I would say that the highlights of Star Channel 34 are infinitely more interesting than any of the content in this game.

Overall, the game just felt very bland and shallow, likely in part due to the fact that it focuses on many girls, rather than a few (Which is clearly to it's detriment, in my opinion, as you never delve deep into any of the girls, and you never get that feeling of gradual, consistent progress/training... It never really feels like you're truly corrupting the girls, it just feels like you're unlocking short, disconnected scenes involving them).
Apart from the fact that I personally didn't enjoy several of the fetishes that the game tends to focus on (Cuck shit, implied underage/ageplay content, etc... The entire end game is focused on romancing/marrying all of the girls, which doesn't appeal to me at all, and much of the game's content is connected to or locked behind that), a lot of the game just felt a lot more tame/vanilla than I was used to in Akabur games (There is still some degrading/crueler content in the game, but a lot of the time, it tends to just feel like you're trying to befriend/romance the female characters, rather than "train" them).

If I were to rank my favorite Akabur games in order, they would be: Witch Trainer, Princess Trainer, and Mating Season (Mating Season was a short side game of his that he'd worked on in between main games, but I really liked it for what it was).
Star Channel 34 and this game both fall far behind all of those, as far as I'm concerned.

    TL;DR:
Just play/replay Princess Trainer... Queen Trainer is just a worse version of that game in every single way.

A good game by Akabur, though not as good as Witch Trainer, which I consider a classic. The corruption part is more straightforward but still satisfying. The art is nice, as always, and the game is enjoyable overall.

I'm not quite done with the game, but I do understand why people are disappointed. There are so many things to do, but no depth to anything. The writing is on par with previous outings and the main drawings are as good as always, but playing this game feels like going to a swimming pool only to find out the water is ankle deep.

I had hoped for something like Witch Trainer, but there are too many characters to really connect with any of them, and not nearly enough drawings, though that is to be expected from an Akaman/bur game.

In the end, in a world where "Four elements trainer" and "Witch Trainer: Silver" exists it feels like Aka hasn't evolved with the times, and has made something that would have been good or even great 10 years ago, but now is merely okay.

Queen Trainer is a solid game that offers a variety of side content, and the option to build a harem is absolutely brilliant. The writing is definitely the highlight—top-tier stuff. I especially love the clever meta-comedy, like the reference to Lily Phillips sleeping with 101 men in one day. That was an awesome nod to real-world events and a perfect example of Akabur’s signature style. When it comes to the writing, it's a 10/10—Akabur hasn't lost his touch.

As for the gameplay, I'm not sure what people were expecting, but I think it’s some of the smoothest gameplay I've seen in any adult game. The grind is rewarding, and honestly, just read the dialogues and don’t be lazy. The grinding is mostly filled with original and great dialogues. It only gets repetitive when you’re nearing the end, but by then, the rewards are more than worth it. I see no real problem with it.

One thing I think people aren't talking about enough is that the grind here is handled way better than in most games. The grind in Queen Trainer is smooth, with at most 3 clicks per action. I've played other games where you have to click 15 times just to leave the apartment, go to a café, work, then repeat the same process. I don’t know why people aren’t complaining about that in those games, but I think the grind here is well-managed.

Now, onto the main course: the explicit content. It’s fun, no doubt, but I understand why some people might be disappointed. Despite my overall love for the game, I feel that while it would be asking a lot to add full animations, at least adding chibis for all interactions would’ve made a huge difference. For example, Hornelia’s training was fun to read, but having nothing but a blank screen can be a bit off-putting. A simple chibi or visual cue would help with immersion.

That said, this game is a classic. I want to encourage people to give it another chance. It’s super immersive, fun to play, and full of lovely events, side characters, and fantastic writing.

Still an excellent game by Akabur. It suffers from more than a few problems still, so I hope these can be corrected in later games.

First of all, the start is very slow pace, but that's standard in Akabur games. However, it can be difficult to know what you want to do, with so many options (and all side quests available from the start). Maybe an indicator on where to start would have made things easier, even if it meant blocking a few options at the beginning.

There's not that much art scenes (I mean full window art) so it feels like a regression. Like all Akabur's games, I've 100%ed it, and for completionnists, this game takes a lot more time than it should.
You actually have to go back and re-do everything if you want to get all achievements on 1 save. Which also means if you want Jasmine as a wife and get the achievements in order, you will get the Guts ending last, and will have to re-do the whole Trust thing later on, which is slow.

I've also noticed there's no way to generate passive income, as the tutoring payout it very slow and all other ways to get money are repetitive and feel like clicker games. The whole random encounter thing is badly managed, as you can get the same encounter multiple times before getting the one you want. And the garden side-quest just takes too many clicks. I'd rather have less time spent in the hub, and maybe the ability to choose which encounter I want to have (which is thankfully possible enough in the city walk option).

Also the calendar events are not evident enough. I shouldn't have to manually check every other day for when the next even is, possibly missing it and having to wait a whole year.

However, these are more completionnists problems, so it shouldn't hinder the base experience.

The game still deserves all of its stars, mostly by being an Akabur game, and secondly because it introduces new mechanics that will hopefully be better implemented in later entries.

Very good, starts slow but there is a lot of content, and "chibi" animations are of good quality. Better than in his previous games. There are more mini games, more to do in this one. Not for you if you want a VN on rails.

I can't deny i had a good time playing the game and yet i felt disappointed at the same time through it. It's named ''queen trainer'', but princess Jasmine never became the main focus for me unfortunately.
    - Why? Because if i want to go through the ''Lust'' route to see basically the only spicy content with her, i feel like a cuck by giving her to others, as i don't have any fun with her personaly as it is in the first game. And non the less at the end just make her a wife to somebody else.
    - If i go through the boring ''trust'' route with her and actually made her my wife at the end, we have only 1 sex scene on the wedding's day. And with all of those ''trust'' advices the old man is turning her into proper, respected future queen, at the end he will turn her into a whore anyway.
    - And that's basically it with her as content! She will come to your harem house, just to stay as a statue, with which you can change few poses and outfits. There's huge irony here, because if you make her your wife, you get the least at the end, doesn't make sense.
    - Huge part of the game was not animated, but only text-based. Biggest example- Hornelia, the academy girl. She's one of the main characters of the game. Loved her from the beginning, because that's in the spirit of akabur's games-provide some kind of service for service in return. Public shaming, striptease, handjobs, blowjobs - 0 animanions. There's only animated anal sex with her at the end. Just a missed opportunity.
Esmeralda's training- non animated. The fortune teller, the massage sallon, the tea house, the hostess club, nothing is animated, just exist as grind locations.
    - I absolutely loved the blonde goddess of agriculture. The idea, to the writing, to the animations with her. Absolute cinema, 5/5, as it was the onliest part of the game from which i don't have objections. I really wish the part with her was a little longer, even for the sake of other girls.

Conclusion: I wish the dev had taken a bit more time into finishing properly the game. After playing it, the low vote score doesn't suprise me anymore, since the good aspects are way lesser than the potential complain aspects, such as the heavy grinding, lots of only text-based content, poor princess Jasmine plot, non end game content in the harem with your wives.

Edit: I feel like 2 stars is a bit harsh, so i change it to 3. In my opinion it's a downgrade compared to the others ''trainer'' akabur games. But nontheless it's still a decent game worth trying

I had high hopes for this game, but sadly, it fell short in almost every way. For something associated with Akabur, it’s a massive letdown. Every section of the game feels rushed and uninspired, lacking the charm and attention to detail that fans have come to expect.

A disappointing game and misses the mark, especially if its trying to be a porn game. If WT is the metric to being good enough but not great, QT doesn't beat that metric. QT fails at being a porn game if that is your reason for playing.

It's an Akabur game but it's missing the fun of PT and is more of a slog than WT. QT is a huge time sink for very little return. The Jasmine content is severely disappointing, considering she is title character. The game is very repetitious, excludes a lot of art (see below) and is missing game play elements to make this fun.

Personally I think Akabur is too busy smelling his own farts and stroking his own ego when it comes to using only his hand drawn art. Which is more evident by Dahr wanting to include more art

I am not crazy! I know he downgraded the quality! I knew it was worse. One after Star Channel 34. As if I could ever make such a mistake. Never. Never! I just - I just couldn't prove it. He - he covered his tracks, he got that idiot Lyk to lie for him. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? This chicanery? He's become worse. That shitty chibi art! Are you telling me that a man just stops drawing like that? No! He orchestrated it! Akabur! He defecated on his own work! And I was hyped for it! And I shouldn't have. I took him for his word! What was I thinking? He has changed. He changed completely! Ever since Witch Trainer, always getting worse! Couldn't keep his quality up! But not our Akabur! Couldn't be precious Akabur! Stealing them blind! And he gets to be defended by his cuck patrons!? What a sick joke! I should've never been hyped for him when I had the chance! And you - you have to stop him! You-

Really liked this. Akaburs writing never made me laugh as much. The resource management game loop that you need to progress anything is overwhelming on a first playthrough - but once you've figured the mechanics out and which time of day, weather, month corresponds with which optimal action it's really relaxing. Previous Akabur games often had the Old Man basically sit around, waiting for stuff to happen, so he can finally give an input. This is not the case here - you'll be hustlin like mad. Especially since the game doesn't reward grinding. If you try to max out one stat, resource, route at a time you will be frustrated by endlessly performing the same action over and over again and than moving on to the next. What you want to do is level as much as you can each day, than all your resources and stats will be just good enough when you need 'em - Unlike other Akabur games no grind required.

If you don't like the resource management aspect, find the farming tedious, and don't care that much for the humor however this game is not for you. The art is as beautiful as ever, but unlocking the CGs takes work.

    Pro tips:

    - In early to mid game only ever do the guard work when there's bad weather and there's literally nothing better to do. The payout is not worth it. Working out counts as something better until you max stats!
Once you're maxed, weekly workouts will do. If you harvest crops/get massages/etc - every once in a while suffices. Just Rest, get a massage, and workout twice in the week before the competition and you'll be good to go.

Focus on Hornelia and the Harvest goddess immediatly - they will be your best source of income in money and culture.

Jasmin can be done with low effort. Choosing an action doesn't take time - so always do that before you do anything else. Hearing the outcome takes the hole day - only do that if you don't have something to harvest or plant.

Hornelia gets plus xp during bad weather days in the theoretical tutoring - this saves time.

Talk to the hole Blue Bull and Red Phoenix crew on a daily basis. Just say hallo it's always a free XP. Utilize the wishing well it's asomely cheap!

Paying for a massage during the day is often a better investment than going to sleep and not being able to perform a night time action (you'll have to sleep eventually though! - just try not to get to this point it wastes a day where people will only tell you that you look tired, pale, etc and you might get sick).

Almost forgot: WATER your crops! Can be done both during the day and at night. Doesn't need to be done during bad weather.

Worst Akabur game. Grind for the sake of grinding, the scenes are very weak and not worth it. The writing is standard for this author. After the Princess Trainer, he stopped developing. Are the arts good? I went through one ending and realized that I wasn’t interested in discovering things here.

I want to like this game. Witch Trainer and Princess Trainer were some of the best trainer games I ever played, Princess Trainer Gold I still hold up as a top contender. But this game? It's so close, so very close but it never gets there. The entire time I was playing I was thinking to myself, there has to be more I haven't seen any CG and things haven't really progressed there has to be more. Then I reached the wedding and I thought oh, maybe this continues past the wedding and you do more. Then credits rolled and I realized I was done.

This game is 95% chibi and 5% CG, and the CG are one to three images per girl. Also it seems like Akabur outsourced some scenes, there were one of scenes that seemed were in a clearly different style and just not good. Somehow the characters feel more underdeveloped then in the Princess Trainer Gold. The grind is just as bad but not as button mashy, it's easier to convince yourself the grind doesn't matter.

It feels like Akabur doesn't want to make porn games anymore but feels pressured by his community to make them. Normally I'd say try making something else but when he did it was just a porn lite game.

If this game was in beta I'd say it had potential, because you can clearly see where more could be done; literally the training for Jasmine ends like half way. The other girls are there and nice but again if you played Princess Trainer Gold you saw Iris, but better, and you met other chicks who were also done better.

I guess to summarize, play Princess Trainer Gold, and check back here in a few months to see if Akaman added anything worthwhile.

This game is like seeing your high-school crush after 10 years.
She's gotten fat, doesn't care for her hygiene and is unemployed, but somehow she managed to find someone who got her pregnant.
It's good for her and who ever impregnated her, but it's still a shame to see her former beauty being destroyed like this

too many chibis, too little game design. He got us used to good games, this one is not one of them.
No real gallery, no actions repetitions, only random interactions without any clue of when they'll happen.
  17. 3.00 star(s)

    goloro1122

A very apparent decline in the gameplay department, the training is much less involved and it is just interactions between you and jasmine where no matter your choice you'll get an ending, and locking stuff like calendars and the challenges behind "pay walls" is such a shitty choice imo, and to actually finish the darn thing you have to play it like 4 times or even more, unlike princess trainer that was relatively shorter but had much better quality.

Just wanted to say my opinion on the first release of the game I'll try updating it as the updates from akaman roll out.

always enjoyed Akamans games, more for the amusment and light hearted dialouges then the H-scenes.
If there where more art i would give 5
like the girl you tutor at least full body shots of her an the "lessons" with her
not just text boxes next time pls.

The game was not the best but it's not that bad ether, I think the biggest problem is the grind, I have a bit of a laugh with some of the jokes, I feel like the game is still incomplete and akubar will give us a more complete game like adding more CG, animating the chibi and give us the option of F-ing Atamansha in future updates hopefully.

(I paid for and supported some of this game's development, so here are my lengthy critical thoughts on it)

    ~ 3.5 stars out of 5 ~

It's a really conflicting experience playing Queen Trainer.
Akabur's quality, humour and style are there, but there's a disconnect between the elements of the game. I think he just got caught a bit in the weeds of scope creep over those 3 years of dev time and the main plot / purpose of the game ran away from him a bit. What's there is fun and even got some audible laughs out of me, the art is quality hand drawn and inked as you'd expect too. That said, the over reliance on chibi art really lets the game down. To my knowledge Jasmine is the only character with a proper paper doll body portrait, and you'll go hours before you actually come across a full CG that isn't a small vignette from Jasmine's quest line.

From a porn perspective, there's unfortunately not a lot of reward for what is a typical Akabur life/romance/corruption sim grind game loop. The game struggles to build its erotic scenes and set pieces in meaningful ways because of this. Intimate late night leash walks with Iris from Princess Trainer are now replaced with goofy workout style chibi art of her flashing her breasts. It's funny and zany as you'd expect from Akabur, but often at the expense of being sexy and engaging.

There are also just too many characters. It was ambitious to have this many marriageable female characters, but in doing so, again the development is spread too thin and you never really get that deep in your relationship to them as a player. The story with Jasmine also seems completely separate from everything else you do in the game, especially since her and the rest of the female cast never really interact at all. It really feels like Akabur chose to focus making all the side content for the game and in doing so, neglected the main story/purpose for you to be doing things.

The new systems like the weather changes and seasonal events work well and feel like a fun, cozy foundation for the game. I particularly love the attention to detail of every character having their own opinions and reactions to what's happening outside. However, superfluous features like weather, seasons, or an entire sub quest line about gardening all feel like things that could have been cut to make a more focused game. I mean, entire locations like the tea shop, the massage parlour, the fortune teller, and the honey bee lounge - although side content - all are without art of any kind, and the entire quest line about the teen girl you train almost completely consists of a head shot of her for its lengthy duration. Why can't I look at my characters full body outside of chibi art? Why can't we dress them up in absurd outfits like every other Akabur game?

It's just frustrating; I enjoyed the game quite a bit and I love Akabur's work, it just really feels like an unfocused project and unfortunately that leaves you wanting - especially with the lack of full size artwork to look forward to unlocking. Maybe this game will get a Gold Edition, maybe not. Princess Trainer was reasonably rough too until Gold Edition rounded it out to what it is now, but even that game had the sense to narrow your harem down to just 3 women. Going for this many characters with this many variable outcomes was a stretch to say the least.

It bares repeating that this is by no means a bad effort or a lazy project; I can see where the love and work went into this game, it unfortunately just struggles to decide what it wants to be, a princess Jasmine trainer or a harem builder, and in doing so, neither element feels as rewarding as you want it to.

Little things like typos, bugs, the main menu not having a LOAD button, these are all fixable, but I think going forward Akabur would be better served by restraining his ideas a bit in scope and restructuring the development-to-release window he works under. Deadlines keep you in check, and Star Channel 34 having an episodic structure I think was a good thing for his process.

In short, plenty of fun, laughs and things do in this one, just keep in mind that the eroticism takes a bit of a back seat here in favour of some humour and life sim elements. Go into it with adjusted expectations from his previous titles and you will have an enjoyable playthrough.
