No If you install Cheat Version given earlier then you can't by using cheats. Also You can click for hangout instead of talk for Hangouts.
Since Cheat Version gives possibility of adding hearts, there's no need to update Walkthrough Guide.
If you click on Continue option , you get to play new version directly.

Incorrect. In the original release of Reika's Quickie episode, when they were doing the mini-VNs long before Love Hotel was a thing, she was the MC's step-sister. After around a year they changed her to be a neighbor instead because Patreon was cracking down on 'objectionable' content and they didn't want to risk any trouble.
Even Though I am Right. They changed and hence it's carried forward in QLHS game. Check when Her Father sends a bridegroom for her in the game.

After playing through Reika's storyline, I feel so bad for her and perhaps one of the most tragic Quicke Girl out of the 8.
