At least the devs made the game much easier to grind and progress through. Least they could do after wiping people's saves between previous updates.

I should have... I thought some of the girls would be more independent, reacting with a 'it was fun while it lasted, don't worry about it'-vibe. But noooo... each and every one has the sky fall on their head while MC rips their hearts out & tramples them all because of mom.
