Could be anyone to be honest, NPC's (male or female) or the MC himself getting Blackmailed. Guess we'll have to wait for it to happen.

Most likely candidate is ex-wife but not from MC. There was some guy waiting outside of her house, crazy ex or someone like that. He probably will try something. Though, it's too early on the story it can be anyone.

I don't think so, as long as it's in the game it has a tag. Not entirely sure though.

My guess is it could be for Alexa. If you go to the devs' website you can read everyone's profile, and her profile describes her as cunning & ambitious, it also goes on to mention that she gets what she wants, which seems like traits that could fit in with the blackmail tag. Then again, this only applies if the tag works if MC could be also be blackmailed.

My first thought was that MC would be the victim of blackmail. When Natalya puts her number in his phone he thinks "What is taking her so long?". Maybe she was looking for something? I don't trust her. Also, those texts MC exchanged with his drunk student (which i assume was Alexa) seem like prime blackmail material.

No, Alexa is not the ex. She's one of the students that the MC teach at school, specifically, the black haired asian girl with the glasses. Allison is the one that's MC's ex.is alexa the ex? been months since i played

What i meant is, that you're "fearing" stuff that hasn't happened and propably never will happen.
I played Being a Dick myself. It is not for me, i was way to much annoyed by all that bullshit gameplay (clicking through rooms, looking for stuff in images, etc.) i had to endure to progress.

Sandbox and free roam VNs are not for me as well but i make the exception for Being A Dik. It's the first visual novel I've ever played in my life and it's still one of the best I've ever played. I started playing it when I was 19 and since then my taste in VNs has changed alot. There's so many games I played back then that I loved, but now when I play it I'm like "huh?, did I really like this shit?" mainly cause there's no story or its porn focused.
Being a dik is one of the few I've never lost interest in but I guess that's because it's not porn focused and there's an actual story with well thought out characters

Yes, the story is okay, but for the love of Sage i CANNOT endure that atrocious BS gameplay elements. I don't read a book or watch a movie to be forced to fulfill Tasks to continue reading/watching. Nope.
I tried, yes i tried. Several times. BaDik will never make it on my List.

I definitely get the impression that Natalya is not to be trusted. She was very evasive when it came to her mother, she was happy to say that her father was German and met her mother in Italy but then tailed off before talking about her mother. The conversation was prompted by MC mentioning that Natalya isn't a German name, it's not Italian either. I'm expecting Natalya to be a Russian spy. She could be after MC's battery design.
Ya she's a little suspicious for sure. Definitely got some weird vibes from her, and rejected her right off the bat anyway - first meeting for like 5-10 mins and she wants to blow you in a public restroom...kick that street-trash to the curb where it belongs.

Hello everyone!
The last two weeks have not been as productive as I would like. Easter, one of my family member’s birthday party and my day job meant I didn't have much time to work on Race of Life. Despite this, I managed to make a few dozens of renders and create one new environment. For this reason, I thought this development update would be a bit different than the others. I think you deserve full transparency when it comes to RoL development and for that reason I would like to explain to you why development may seem to have slowed down recently.
- I've mentioned this many times before, but I’ll repeat it again - Episode 2 is really big. Considering I'm the only 3D artist in our two-person team, it's really time consuming to make thousands of images and dozens of animations in a reasonable amount of time. And the art itself is not the end of the work. You have to take care of the code, test it, take care of the SFX, etc. All this translates into hundreds if not thousands of hours of work.
- I work on Race of Life in my free time. I have a day job which often requires me to work irregular hours and therefore there are situations where I have very little free time. I sincerely hope that someday I will be able to take up Race of Life as a full-time job, but for now it must be as it is. All we can do is make sure that Episode 3 will be smaller and easier to create.
- At first I didn't want to talk about it, but looking at how much time I've wasted on this and how much time I'm likely to lose in the future, I thought you should know about it. In January this year I was diagnosed with sinus cancer. Fortunately, it is not a malignant tumor, but it still requires surgery. Since January I’ve spent many days looking for a hospital to take care of me and I found it only a few days ago. It's very possible I'll be operated on in a month or two and then I'll have to take a break from work until I recover. The doctor said I shouldn't push myself too hard the next couple of weeks after the surgery and I'll be fully recoverd at least 2 months after. As soon as I get the exact date of the surgery, I will let you know!
