The issue is, Allie was wronged by the MC, so her treatment towards him is reasonable. She softens up after she sees his efforts after Lily's accident.

The opposite is true of V. She starts off soft, then after the accident, she presses the MC on commitment while complaining they don't spend enough time together. Not like he has more pressing issues, like earning money for his comatose daughter's treatment or anything.

I personally really hate the way the devs have written Jake out to be a complete asshole towards V when he's not reciprocating her feelings. What in the actual fuck is so hard about sitting her down, and actually telling her that he's just not ready for commitment.

Instead we have to watch him lead her on until she reaches her breaking point. And then he still acts oblivious about the whole damn thing by attempting to call her after she sends him that text.

I already shared this in the past but.. Man I fucking hate her. When I learned there is a cheating path, I tried it. At least tried to try it. But I cannot even get through the "Who cares about your vegetable daughter, why aren't you fcking me 24/7, why aren't you proposing, why aren't you paying for my 401k, why are you teaching a class that has other women than me in it?" themed abuse part of her. Fuck V. I hope she dies in the next update so that I don't have to wonder whether the only remaining "locked" parts in the gallery is worth seeing.

P.S. I normally playthrough every LIs story in literally every other game I play, it's like a FOMO for me I want to see everything a game has to offer. Even in normal games, I nearly plat almost every game I play. Missing out on an optional dialog, mission really bothers me(That's why I avoid games like bethesda games, games like no man's sky, etc. its almost impossible to truly finish). So you don't have any idea how unbearable you have to be for me to actively avoid you in a game. But holy shit I've never seen a leech like V. (It has a voldemort like effect, saying it's name is forbidden)

2. Divorce his wife, keep his job, perhaps have the chance of an amicable separation
3. Cheat on his wife, divorce, lose his job, have his ex-wife hate him

There are people actually arguing that choice 3 was the correct one.

Which is absolute BANALITY. What the fuck do you mean you think the nuclear option was the best one?!

Would've been fine given their situation. She'd still be jealous of the MC getting with other women, so you can still have fun with it from the dev's side.

I just would give them a fuck ton of money to get the game done faster if they needed more PC's , pay for their bills etc etc. But I would never want to influence a game if I was a whale. also a dev who has some integrity wouldn't let you influence their game in any meaningful way. But thinking about it, there is certainly a dollar amount at which I personally would say fuck it But that's just me.

V's probably the only character that's inconsistent and done dirty by the writer after every update she's in. As a former V fan, the stuff that we saw about her in this update was just... wow, in a very bad kinda way. I don't know what the point is of all those... jealous lover outbursts of hers or whatever, but unless we're supposed to find out she's a bipolar closet sadomasochist we should be more accepting of, this is not the kinda plot twist that'll make players reconsider their interest in her.

The thing I never understood about her is this exaggerated clinginess toward the MC that makes her insecure asf for no valid reason, IMO. Sure, he's an attractive guy she fell for and who she thinks has a lot of potential to grow as a person, but ffs V, the guy's a walking red flag that would put an entire damn communist ass-kissing party to shame.

She said she always falls for the guys who break her heart, which can mean everything from previous (physically) abusive relationships to casual flings, where she was promised a lot, only to be rostered or just pumped and dumped by the guys she thought she was exclusive with, and still goes for another potential fuckboi. In MC's case, he's basically a stranger or an acquaintance at best to her and a recently divorced guy with a daughter in a damn coma to boot, so her pushing so hard for exclusivity is simply ridiculous and makes no sense storywise coming from a supposedly smart woman like her.

Guess porn 'logic' is again the answer to our questions, but even so, I completely agree with what you said. V herself is her one and only enemy when it comes to an exclusive relationship with a man she's attracted to. She has no one else except herself to blame for her failures in trying to get commitment from the MC, and I really hope at some point in the game, we'll get an option to call her out on her bullshit. She may consider what she does showing romantic interest in the guy she's attracted to, but almost everyone else considers it textbook

To be honest, the devs made all of the LIs quite flawed, (which in itself is good writing), I think V's stands out because she is forced upon us and heavily weighted in the beginning.

V is insecure, jealous and clingy.
Allie is bitchy and grudgy (i know it's not a word, but she can hold a grudge).
Nat is made out to be an evil spy (whether she is one or not, we are suspicious of her motives)
Jasmine is immature, bossy and overly flirty.
And Maggie seems too nice, so they had to throw a hint of femdom in there. (With possibly more flaws to be revealed).

All of them, except maybe Maggie, have a lot of growing to do as people, which fits the story because so does MC. I'm looking forward to seeing the LIs develop alongside the MC.

I wouldnt notice in other avns as its more or less the norm but for me Maggie kinda stands out negatively as she barely feels like a real character at this point to me, its like shes too good/flawless (and esp for our MC lol).

But shes kinda strange, shes like super careing and supporting without any expectations for more or less no reason other the mc being attractive to her. Otherwise we know she has a sick stepdad, strange family dynamics, is from canada and was a masseuse and thats all.

She doesnt seem to know anyone but her mom (who she doesnt really know anymore) and her dog and just feel kinda disconnected and a bit bland.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at. She is my favorite, and while the others have these raging flaws, Maggie seems like the perfect wife material, then they threw in the light femdom stuff. I'm hoping and believe that there is going to be something more than that.
