If u hadn't figured it out yet F9 should reload character assets. Doing once sometimes twice fixes almost all textures issues for me. The only issues that this doesn't fix for me are due to some really old characters on racknet from way older versions of the game that just don't seem to work anymore on newer versions.
also posting this here in case anyone over here maybe had other ideas unique to this thread:
Is anyone else having trouble logging in to racknet? Trying to login with my usual email says
"unknownuser; the user does not exist"
but trying to register the same email address gives
"invalid email address: the username is already registered"
I've had issues with the game refusing to remember my password for a while and having to manually type it each time. Now the only way I can get it to log in is by registering a new email. But even registering a brand new throw away producing this same problem on subsequent launches of the game. Making a new throw away every time to play this game seems unrealistic.

Thank you for your great work on this. I hope someone takes this game's whole approach and makes non-furry games in the same vein, because the interactivity, depth of simulation, and mechanical significance of the sex is peerless. It's a shame the game supports so many kinks except regular human beings.

why they should and would return on an abandoned game ?
if the dev doesn't bother continue his game why the modders should ?

well thats what they pretty much did in the first place it was the ' Reinvented mod' they just liked to improve and add of what was left

My logic was that if the last version is the LAST version you might see modders come back to work on stuff that they didn't want to do when it was likely they would have to rework it as the game updates.

So does the modder still work on the mod? Both the patreon page and the discord is nonexistent.

No they stopped work on the mod just over a year ago and stayed stopped, looks like they also stopped logging in to f95 a few months ago so there goes some of my hope.
such a shame... this was one of the more promising sims out there.... at least the source code could be released, the character creation is the best ive ever seen in a furry game
ok im only making a post because im kinda desperate here. is the discord server for this still up, and if it is does anybody have the link? i was in it while it was still being developed but left around a year or so ago. im sort of working on a shitty spinoff of the game in unreal (dont worry about it) and i wanted to ask the team what they know about a few of the systems in the game, namely how it handles having both plantigrade and digitigrade feet. if you crack open the game in asset studio theres a mesh called 'FEET_planti_to_digi_blender' but i dont know how to see how its used in game, i only have the mesh.
the server also had the entire model assembled and pinned in one of the channels. i had it at some point but i mustve deleted it when cleaning my drive. if anyone knows or has any of this stuff i would be incredibly grateful. ive never posted on this site before so apologies in advance for... everything

I believe the RACKNET server is hosted on the same server space as the RACK2 website, and I believe that the certificate/registration on the main RACK2 site expires in 2024, if it's not renewed or paid for, it will just suffer connection problems and vanish.
