I understand the hate towards this game, the 14 months of waiting are unjustifiable. I know that one of the developers has other projects but let's be real, this game is more relevant than the other projects they may have, and I will never understand the developers who work in two games at the same time instead of finishing one first. that said I really like this game and I hope the devs deliver the next updates on time, and I also hope they are a little more realistic in terms of the duration of this game because I read that it is planned to last 30 chapters and at this rate or they hire a big team or this game is not finished until 2034. anyway good luck to the devs and hopefully they can work more constantly on this game

Acting Lessons is like BaDIK overhyped trash...
Though AL might be good if you like your LI crispy with a side of asparagus and lemon...
And Radiant... Radiants plot is mediocre too... and the dev a is milker... 3 updates in over 2years.

Just sad that people get blinded so easily with some somewhat decent renders and mediocre writing.

There's a whole ass, big wide world out there outside these forums, thousands of people who love the game, and that fact alone ruffles the panties of quite a few people here.

In fact I'm pretty sure that every time someone likes the OP or subscribes, a new bald spot appears on their heads. It's quite sad and... being brutally honest for a second... feels genuinely bad. After all, it's my hope that what we're creating brings at least mild enjoyment to as many people as possible, not put them on a blood pressure regiment.

Anyway, my point is I'm glad you liked it, and hope you continue to do so, and if you'd like to meet 7k+ people who also like it, you're welcome to join us over in the game's official Discord.

Okay so real talk for a second. I RARELY interact with the forums on here but I have to hand it to these devs, hope ya'll see this. I'm the type of asshole who typically laughs at plots in porn of all forms, if anything it's there to keep your mind occupied to keep the scenes cohesive. That being said, over all the time I've spent on here, I can count on one hand the games that impacted me with their writing and storytelling. Of those, I only remember the names of 2 because I'll never forget them. Those are "Acting Lessons," and this one. Like god damn, I download these games expecting to ignore the shitty plot and just hold CTRL till the fap material shows up like the cunt I am and that's what I was going to do when I first played this but as soon as he reads that letter I tuned into a crybaby bitch and I've been hooked since. You guys are kings of your craft, IDC if there are more popular games out there I honestly hold this game and "acting lessons," as the platinum standard for which all subsequent titles here should be judged atleast from a narration standpoint. Keep up the good work guys.

Sorry to hear you didn't like it that much. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts or feedback as to why, you're welcome to send me a DM (here or on Discord) if you don't want to voice them openly.

What I will say is that your dislike is rather uncommon... the droves of feedback we've combed through tells us that Ch4 was the most popular/well-received chapter by far, even when accounting for recency bias, and it was more or less the same for the previous two.

I can see why you'd feel that, though I do think you should wait to see where we're going with it. I wouldn't have introduced him for arbitrary reasons, nor does he pull an Erik from Big Brother on us or get in the way of us and our LI's/the triplets.

You don't have to take my word for it... it'll make sense soon enough. You're not the first person who's expressed concern over this, and those who I discussed this with in private had their worries quelled after learning some future spoilers.

I started playing this game after the 0.4v update came. So far i like it. Lots of feels.
Question though... Purity path. Is that gonna lock you out of content or is it more or less flavor based? As in Purity/Lust pretty much the same apart from a few dialogue changes and possible scene changes.

I see. No worries though. As long as he doesn't cuck us or brings permanent and lasting harm to the triplets and/or the MC it's good.

One other question if I may.

The scene where MC knocks that dude out. Was that intended to be funny? It felt like an attempt at humor but I'm not sure?
MC potentially killed a kid. A blow to the back to the head is no trivial thing.

How nice, insulting the fanbase that has been enduring the delays and the giant amount of excuses since the first release. Just don't tell the new fans that the next release is probably one year away, that might kill their excitement pretty fast.

Roaming the foruns filled with the "edgy kids" that are disliked so much. Perhaps an attempt to drive the poor sods too clueless to realise how the development of this game goes, into pledging and building the patreon numbers count back up.
