No, it's one of those games that has all the stars reviews because the renders are beautiful and the story is compelling and (if a bit heavy-handed) emotional. The first time I played it, I did not expect a porn game to elicit such a reaction from me. The hate you read in the forums is mostly about the "slow" pace of development. There's a major update every 7 months or so, and if you do the math there's are nine total updates for 29 months of development, which works out to some sort of update every three and one-quarter months on average. I don't call that slow at all. I would guess the frustration is because people are impatient that they connected with the game and liked it, and want more of it. If I sound like I'm stanning for this game, I am and I'm not ashamed of that.

Not trying to troll you (really) but 14 months since the last minor update and this last one seem to be a bit longer than 7 months. Of course if you count the meaningless and boring wallpapers that have been pushed... then you may be right... Just saying.

Let's be real, the game has had 4 actual updates since it launched. Those updates are medium to large size depending on who you ask but not nearly as large as they should be, given the time it takes for them to be ready. The selling point of this VN are the triplets, yet 2 and a half years in, there isn't any real content with them. The few sex scenes that are here, have been assigned to side characters, and this side characters keep crawling out of the woodwork instead of focusing on the triplets.

This VN started with a really solid premise and what appeared to be a serious tone but then it took a turn into wanton silliness. The way I see it is that while building the relationship with the triplets the devs decided to add some side characters to have some quick and easy sex scenes (there are only a few at present), but these characters are comedy level bad. A virgin mother, the mother of the kid you killed, your obsessed fan, etc. Half the time you spend with these crazy women instead of advancing with the triplets.

So, answering your question, you might want to let this one cook for a long time.

Thanks, all I needed to know. Good thing I did not download yet. I usually cant care less about side characters when the game is very obviously mainly about certain characters and teasing around them.

Side chars then do as much for me as googling "3D cg porn pictures". Throwaway side chars and dream scenes, my bane.

LMAO how much Dev dick are you sucking. There's been 3 updates, as we're up to chapter 4. 4 releases total. Releases have gotten longer and longer in between, with the last release at 14 months. That's why people are complaining it's slow. Until the dev actually breaks the trend and releases an update every 4-5 month as he's promised on discord, all of this is just talk. Stop making excuses for poor practice.

I know that one of the developers has other projects but let's be real, this game is more relevant than the other projects they may have, and I will never understand the developers who work in two games at the same time instead of finishing one first. that said I really like this game and I hope the devs deliver the next updates on time, and I also hope they are a little more realistic in terms of the duration of this game because I read that it is planned to last 30 chapters and at this rate or they hire a big team or this game is not finished until 2034. anyway good luck to the devs and hopefully they can work more constantly on this game

Acting Lessons is like BaDIK overhyped trash...
Though AL might be good if you like your LI crispy with a side of asparagus and lemon...
And Radiant... Radiants plot is mediocre too... and the dev a is milker... 3 updates in over 2years.

Just sad that people get blinded so easily with some somewhat decent renders and mediocre writing.

There's a whole ass, big wide world out there outside these forums, thousands of people who love the game, and that fact alone ruffles the panties of quite a few people here.

In fact I'm pretty sure that every time someone likes the OP or subscribes, a new bald spot appears on their heads. It's quite sad and... being brutally honest for a second... feels genuinely bad. After all, it's my hope that what we're creating brings at least mild enjoyment to as many people as possible, not put them on a blood pressure regiment.

Okay so real talk for a second. I RARELY interact with the forums on here but I have to hand it to these devs, hope ya'll see this. I'm the type of asshole who typically laughs at plots in porn of all forms, if anything it's there to keep your mind occupied to keep the scenes cohesive. That being said, over all the time I've spent on here, I can count on one hand the games that impacted me with their writing and storytelling. Of those, I only remember the names of 2 because I'll never forget them. Those are "Acting Lessons," and this one. Like god damn, I download these games expecting to ignore the shitty plot and just hold CTRL till the fap material shows up like the cunt I am and that's what I was going to do when I first played this but as soon as he reads that letter I tuned into a crybaby bitch and I've been hooked since. You guys are kings of your craft, IDC if there are more popular games out there I honestly hold this game and "acting lessons," as the platinum standard for which all subsequent titles here should be judged atleast from a narration standpoint. Keep up the good work guys.

What I will say is that your dislike is rather uncommon... the droves of feedback we've combed through tells us that Ch4 was the most popular/well-received chapter by far, even when accounting for recency bias, and it was more or less the same for the previous two.

For me story wise the thing I'd change is the cop.
I'd remove him completely from the game.

I don't know what you have planned for him but so far he seems to be wasted dev time.
