Every single person here would be more than happy if you updated your game.Slow down horsies. Give us a chance first, say we failed after. We updated you guys to say it'll be close to the end of the month, if not the 1st or the 2nd. It's the 30th (might be the wee morning hours of the 31st for you, depending on your timezone) and y'all just popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate our defeat.
Ngl, feels like some of the users here would be happy if we missed it, which is just... a little weird and mildly depressing.

The problem is you went down the same route as so many devs before you and missed deadlines followed by excuses. The mockery isn't personal against you, you are one of many devs that are guilty of it. The problem is there are more prolonged updates and delays than there are games that are updated regularly.
People don't have faith in you to deliver because it's not the first time they have seen this story play out.
Why would they do a 180?A lot of people love to complain and a lot of people love to see others fail because it makes them feel better about their own shortcomings. It's human nature sadly just how people are conditioned these days.
And I can already see the 180 a lot of those guys are gonna pull when the update drops
A lot of those complaining want the update to drop. It's not a case of wanting the devs to fail it's like I just said above, it happens far too often and it's started to become a running joke on the site.
When a person sees a dev making 6k a month they expect them to earn it.

Don't misunderstand its not that we would be happy if you missed it. We've just seen this story play out time and time again... Great games with soo much potential getting sidelined and forgotten. I get you have other games to work on as well and don't fault you for prioritizing them. But it feels like you are forgetting a game with soo much potential and great writing in the process.
Believe me when I say I am genuinely looking forward to the update and will probably scream and start jumping up and down when it releases if I'm being honest with myself... But I think at this point we all know better than to get our hopes up as we've been let down by other devs so many times in the past. That's not on you. That's on them. But you can't really blame people for how they respond as a result. Just try to be patient with us and when the updates start coming trust that everything will work itself out.
