I want to say I love this game. I have played probably around 40-50 of the games on this site at this point, and out of them all, this one is no doubt at the top. I have gone through clean slate to mauo sama, neko paradise to whoremaker, and many in between, and out of all the games, there has only been 2 that make me want a sfw game by the same devs just to shell out to my irl friends as "this game is great, you should buy it" just to support the devs more.

of note: the art is amazing, there are things that slip slightly into the valley, but only barely. the story is compelling even if there are a few things that dont exactly make sense in my mind.

You said there were 2. I'm a curious person. What's the other one?

Of the daughters, probably the blonde first, then the redhead, then the brunette (I'm awful with names XD).

I know it wouldn't make sense at this point if she were, and would probably take away from the emotional impact, but part of me can't help but wish that Gracie was still alive. I self-inject into most protagonists while playing games, because I just find it enjoyable. And after reading that letter one of the things that stung the most was thinking about "What might have been.", and hating that there was never a chance to see and speak to her again after waking up. But I guess that's part of what adds to the feels.
I didn't know how to describe it at first, but what you just wrote perfectly depicts how i feel about the situation too.

I'm a little intrigued by your statements. In your opinion, what does the story lack?

The shift for the girls is too fast in my mind, it feels like allison rushes to you almost instantly, when in reality I am sure that she would be a bit more depressed. though I guess she is supposed to be a bit of an airhead, it still feels like the stuff happening on day 1 would be on day 3 or 4 instead. Olivia seems the only one to be reacting normally - except in that she kisses you after knowing you for such a short period of time. maddison acts like you would expect - except in that she is clearly already down to date you after your first interaction without the other 2.

the rapid acceptance just feels too quick. I understand why it is happening, its so that the game doesnt take 3 years to go from start to finish (for the player, I am sure development will take that long due to number of projects the devs work on), but it just feels like you are rushing into things. the scene with the new assistant makes sense as she is someone who follows you already, and the interactions make sense, her love for your work pushing the two of you together quickly. the other woman who is supposed to be trying to get you before your assistant as well makes sense, but the acceptance of moving in and the speed that the triplets learn your house and are willing to go swimming and sunbathing in your pool right after their mother died and they moved in with a dad they have never seen before doesnt.

You missed the december update though.
What I meant was in 9 months there was only 1 update to the game after it's release, which is really really slow. In it's entirety there should be more content as of right now, it's taking way too long to update. At the rate it's going it won't be finished until I fucking retire, and that's another 30 or so years.

You know, I can't disagree with that. Just like you're saying it's a minor defect of the game, but not completely ruining. Although i really didn't like when the neighbor (the policeman) pulls you over and then starts taking pictures later. I mean, I know that it's supposed to add a little spice to the story and maybe a little difficulty to the game. But I would rather like to just sail smoothly through the story.

And what do you think about the quick change of mind of the russian mother whose you killed the son ? It reminds us we're in a porn game.

Yeah the writing took quite the dip in episode 2. Things were interesting on episode 1 as setting up the relationship with the triplets... but the rest went quite bad imo, the bad guy, the russian woman just being okay around the murderer of her son so soon...

Lets hope somethings change in episode 3. I also dislike how many side-chicks were already introduced.

It does lol. I remember thinking “Omg, are you serious? We’re going to bang the mother of... just, wow.” Of course there’s no guarantee that we will. I just got that impression.

Kind of makes me think of the romantic relationship in The Last Samurai, but somehow even more fucked up XD. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested in watching it unfold though.

And yeah almo007 I kinda wish the cop thing just wasn’t there either so far.

Another thing this game does, that I almost never see in other games, is that it lets you enter, erm, custom/"non-canonical" ages for the girls. Usually games go out of their way to mention that everyone is 18. Several times. No matter how heavy-handed it feels in the scene. I mean I get why they do it. They want to cover their own asses. Can hardly blame them for that.

But it can be a bit eye-rolling at times when the dialogue gets to be "Have I introduced you to my 18 year-old (totally-not-related-by-blood) STEP-daughter, who is 18 years-old? We just had her 18th birthday party yesterday, to celebrate her turning EIGHTEEN. All of her *18 year-old* friends, who are also 18, came over too... Come to think of it... I don't think there's a single citizen in this town now who isn't at least 18 years-old. Weird huh?

...did I mention that she's 18?"
