What? Incest romance with maybe harem isn't real? :WaitWhat:

Congratulations on discovering that videogames don't represent reality.... I guess...
The appeal of visual novels is to have an element of realism or at least plausibility, so that the player can simulate the aspects of dating/courtship/seduction that they crave irl and feel like they are accomplishing something when the play the game. To have all the girls just throw themselves at the MC makes the resulting sexual encounters feel unearned and takes the thrill of the hunt, so to speak, out of the experience. If I wanted to look at lewds without experiencing the hunt I would just go on sad panda or pull up a video or something.

That's a cool story bro, but you missed my whole point.

No, please don't speak for others. This may be what appeals to you, but there are a ton of us that isn't the case for.
Speaking for others is willfully ignorant

By that logic if you want to experience the "hunt" you can just go out into the real world and seduce a real woman

Small time developers will remain small time developers.
Big developers remain big because they release a finished product, and if there is a problem, they immediately fix said problem.
This is why from this point forward, I will only focus on completed games. I'm tired of ending up paying out the ass for a product that isn't even finished yet. If I have to wait years to finish a game, and I'm paying $5 a month, I would end up spending hundreds for the game that isn't even finished yet.
So, sorry developers, you'll get no more money from me until I start seeing a return on my investment.
Unless you love giving your money away, you might consider doing the same.

I would say most games here require some level of "buy in".
I "bought in" to the fact that young girls who never met their father until they were of sexual age might have some weird feelings towards him...
I bought in to that despite the fact that it's a way out there premise, it's the fundamental stone of the story which if you don't buy into, it doesn't work.

Now just because i bought in to "one" way out there premise doesn't mean you should start stacking up similarly ludicrous storylines like boxes, the grieving parent from that original accident who can't keep it in their pants around you, the virgin mother...

I don't think that the triplets being attracted to the mc is that unrealistic of a scenario. A lot of women who grow up without a father figure develop interest in older men, even though he is their father he is basically a stranger to them because he was never present in their lives. The virgin mother thing is also not that crazy, she wants a kid but doesn't want a sexual partner so she just goes the artificial insemination route with a sperm donor. The only thing right now for me that is "way out there" is the mother of the murdered kid being instantly attracted to the mc.

Women having kids without a partner is the MOST real life plausible element as it happens thousands of times a year.
Perhaps but I bet there is less then one out of thousands who's young and virgin.

Also anyone who actually deals with grief will tell you there is never any way to predict how it will affect someone so the thought that she desires a young, (by all accounts) attractive, man who is tied to her loss but may not be a monster like she wanted to imagine isn't super crazy either. I would bet it is more rare than girls who want to make out with their dad but I would also bet any amount of money that it exists in real life, both of them in fact.
Again it might exist that a woman fuck her son's killer after seeing him two times to deal with grief, but highly unlikely.

When you add up all the unlikely situations it becomes too silly. No problem with porn parody but I didn't have that impression after first update.

Gosh, some devs here have two or three games in developing and they're giving updates once 2 or 3 months on every one of them, This guys just doesn't even try
Why bother trying when they can milk enough money from patrons. There are literally devs even worse than this with one update in a year or two and still minting a lot of money ,These devs realize that fact . Nothing is gonna change untill their supporters on patron do something about it.

Absolutely right about that, though I have to admit that by milking his patrons and procrastinating the way he has he made this thread WAY MORE interesting than his VN. I'll have to come back and check this thread again in 7 months.. Cheers
