I wonder who the MC killed. It can't be related to the crash. Killing someone while drunk driving is manslaughter, so a pretty serious crime. He would have been arrested before leaving the hospital. And the woman looks too young to be the mother of the guy he punched (who was fine after the punch anyway).

Pretty clear that it will have been in the car accident. That line of dialogue, "I think he's dying", may not have been referencing the MC.

It is a very serious crime but there are also statutes of limitations with regards to certain laws where you can't be charged for a crime after a certain amount of time has passed. I don't know what that would be for death by dangerous driving in the US, but for the purposes of this game it could be that that time has passed and he can't now be charged. So the woman is likely either looking for some sort of justice or to see if she can forgive him.

Maybe, though to be honest in a game like this there isn't all that much difference between "Love" and "Lust".

It depends what you mean by "a game like this", if you mean porn games in general, I personally always expect big differences between love and lust paths. I want the girls to be noticeably perverted in the lust path, generally.

A shame it's confirmed there won't be any sharing path, but well that's the only little downside of this excellent game, so I'm greatly looking forward to the continuation nonetheless.

He's not exactly wrong. There are a few tags misapplied. With "Drugs" the fact that MC and Gracie are drunk when they have sex does not qualify. There's no "Corruption" or "Groping" yet either, by forum definition. And "Urination" only applies to sex acts, seeing MC peeing for a second does not qualify.

I believe it is a universal patch, as in it doesn't need updating.

My interpretation is that the MC on the darkness path would use their tragic situation against the triplets

But Dammed also said it would be geared toward sadists which is what has me a tad leery of the route. My tastes are on the darker side but I'm not all that into inflicting outright pain.

Yes. Tags are supposed to represent what's in the game in its current form but almost every dev and uploader uses them for things that will be in the game later.

The relevant time for the statute of limitations is between the crime and the charging. In the US at least, a coma patient can still be charged, but not tried. So he would have been charged right away and the statute of limitations would not apply.

If he was under 18, then he would have been a minor at the time of the crime but I think he would still be charged and tried later. Of course we could be in some fantasy-country (i.e. not the US or any other real Western nation) where different laws apply.

The MC parents were very rich and they could have very easy with what the Dr. said they thought MC would never wake up getting the charges reduce or even dismissed.

Getting a very good layer could have gotten the charges reduce and with the Dr. report MC may not survive the judge could have very easy dismiss the charges or reduce the charge down and putting MC on house arrest for any number of years and so on.
