I agree with you there asakura14 but, I still like the game. It just sucks that the people that make it do not seem to care much about the game or use and put any development off till just before the abandon tag hits or they "have to" put some update out. Wish they gave a sh#t about the game.

You have no idea about Sir Damned' history and his track record. If Polarity is any indication, I wouldn't hang my hopes too high for this one. Empty promises, nothing to show, no delivery, only keen on subscriber numbers.
Maybe they start another project ... and off they go ...
Did you read up, did you background check, did you get any of the history surrounding the developers and their games? How the heck can you be "quite sure" that THIS game will be a success?!

I'm a new asshole. I haven't been with the other three.
And the facepalming is very warranted. It's for catering high hopes after so much disappointed and lies.
If you lost the trust of the people, it is very hard to earn that back.
You see, it's the people who are annoyed about the game developers after so much disappointment. And THEY get annoyed about anyone who puts them or their game on pedestals, giving them praise and potentially luring others and their hopes into the rot until the developers have proven themselves and truly delivered to earn back such trust.
Can you imagine how annoyed those people are when there is constantly new visitors to the scene, that know nothing of the history and did no background-check or research to still praise them blindly? Just put yourself in their shoes for a second. Hence the faceplaming
So, don't take the facepalming personal. It is aimed towards the naivety and unwarranted praise for the developers or their product - not you personally.

I think we all agree that the development of the game is very slow, but that does not mean that the game is bad or that certain aspects of the game cannot be praised, I think they are two separate things

Exactly my friend, development sucks. One of the best games around but the developers take 14 months to do something that should take 4-5 at most. Has nothing to do with the game itself.
You dont like it dont support it, Damn will tell you that himself. I supported Polarity and quit when all the empty promises started. Has nothing to do with not being a great game, I just pirate all 3 games for free now.
Love the game. Put the aholes in your ignore list eventually they disappear. That's what aholes do....
