OK I don't know if anyone else asked this question yet but what in the world is the MC's aversion to taking a shower? I mean 2 whole days and going into three and no baths or showers. That is just nasty as hell. What the fuck?

Recent discoveries have shown that showering every day or every second day is not actually benefitting anybody any.
Twice a week, they say, is enough if you're not physically active.
Plus, heating the water for showers is psychotically expensive right now.
