They're not asses, they're geniuses. Everyone (even myself) in their shoes would have done the same: doing nothing and watching your bank account balance going up every month.
The difference is those games provide updates. This guy hasn't done that month after month. The last release was an alpha version with a few more scenes left and he couldn't even finish that in 6 months.
He's busy playing AAA games , finding bugs and simping for the same games on x twitter
10 years later and they'll still be making money off people waiting for the updates, lol.

You won't kill anything, in these years if there is something I have learned is that people will continue to pay unconditionally, in the vain hope that the devs will drop an update sooner o later. Famous developer ICstor affair taught us that you can go silent for years and people will still continue to pay; even without releasing wallpapers or making a single post. By the way i won't judge these subscribers, everyone is free to burn their money as they like.
Not trying to defend ICSTOR or anything but the reason why he was able to get away with years of no updates, is because prior to that he actually released frequent updates, the game had a lot of content and he had a huge fanbase when he decided to start his dairy business. These guys started it just after a couple updates.
Well if the business model works... just saying, it may be infuriating but from a financial standpoint this Dev is shrewd.
I mean yeah if people are willing to pay them for no content, I don't really blame them for taking advantage of that. It's just sad, because this could actually become one of the best games on this forum if they actually worked on it.
It is a gamble and very infuriating I don't know whats worse the way the dev takes advantage of supporters or them going along with it, they need to all get together and stop support send a message !! When this game first can out I thought damn this is going to surpass Acting Lessons which I personally think is one of the very best games out there
