I know its subjective, but I would rather play this than any other harem game on this site

And tbh how many games on here actually have a good coherent story

First of all, it's not a harem as of now. There is no consensual sharing between the girls. Secondly, there are better games. Sisterly Lust, for example. I know the graphics are outdated but the relationship dynamics and lewd scenes are much better. Or Perveteer's new game Tales from the Unending Void. Or Desert Stalker. Just to name a few.

Some parts of the story In Radiant are cringy as hell like the story of the policeman and his wife and also all the girls magically want the MC's dick at the very first sight (which to be fair is not uncommon in AVNs) but they also all magically virgins, even those who have children (we all a bit Christian). And as far as I remember, more than one girl comes from oppressive puritan family. I mean, it's OK for a porn story but not enough to call it a great AVN.

I have tried all those games you mentioned
I didn't like them for various reasons
You say they are better I say they are worse

And about the harem thing the site says it's a harem
Some harems don't have sharing but are still tagged as such
Because harem is such a broad thing
Bare witness for example is considered poly not harem by some including me

May be harem is planned. But I repeat myself: as of now it isn't a harem in any sense. It's just cheating that's it.

The mother of the boy he killed went from wanting to kill him to wanting to fuck him upon meeting him.
He meets and bent cop but the bent cop wife is willing to help him and wants to fuck him.

He's supposed to be such a great guy and gives off such great vibes that everyone loves (and wants to fuck) him but half the time he acts like a c**t. There's no hesitation in him about fucking his own daughters.
The story haven't been coherent since the first chapter.
IMO dev wanted to cover all bases and cater to everyone. Now he's stuck. I really think he does not know how to proceed.

Most people don't need good plots in their porn games if the lewd is good. Hell, they don't even need good plots in their disney marvel/star wars series

Radiant does have a better story than a ton of games, but it's a really low bar to clear. I have to echo the general sentiment that the story started out good and has gotten worse with each update. I still enjoy it but now that they aren't even pretending to work on it anymore, who knows if we'll get to spend more time with the triplets in the future.

But that's the issue...it really doesn't. Start the game at the second update (in your mind)...and tell me...is it really that good because in all honesty, after the first release, it is bang average at best, average renders, below average plot, terrible writing...

The fact of the matter is, it's still riding the coattails of it's first release with the letter, which admittedly, was brilliantly done. After that, it's completely forgetable in every aspect.

It could be top 10 for sure if they had a frequent release schedule. At the end of the day it's supposed to be a fap game so people aren't expecting super good writing or story telling.

Vanilla games in general are ultra boring, unless the models are really really good, but even then.... i loved Sunshine Love models despite being ultra vanilla, because of the models render, but it comes a point where you say, nahhh, this crap is boring.
That´s why Personal Assistant is king, also Kennedy looks so gooood.
Radiant was great in that aspect as well, and it was on the right track, but then, Final Fantasy and Starfield came, and the dev......

It sounds like you're arguing with me, but you basically just repeated what I said. I said the story started out good and has gotten worse with each update. The reason I said it has a better story than a ton of other games is because an average story IS better than a ton of games on this site.

Between writing a good story and creating good renders, I would argue writing a good story is the harder task. Renders keep getting better on average (just look at what an average game looks like today compared to a few years ago), but stories are forever going to be a mixed bag. Some are surprisingly great while most suck.

Most Devs problems are they try to fit in as many tags as they can and try to cater to everybody. And IMO i think they try to milk patrons by extending a story to long. For me about a 6-8 hour story with a decent story and sexy women and good animation and i would be happy. Heck i wouldn't even care if it was kinetic as long as it had all that i just mentioned.
