Third, well if you want i can talk a little about me (of my kind)... i m 43 and i m not rich so i have rules, i don t support dev who have not finish at least one game (i say this a lot of time here in f95, even in this thread few time ago...), it s the test for me, this way i can see if the dev is serious (how many game he abandon), if he like milking, how he treat his community, how good he is, etc... i don t drop money on strangers, then i m not be fooled... If there is more of my kind, prudent investor, i think devs start will be really more difficult and we left only those who really want to do game. Not the unmotivated studient who want money and just copy/past games.

To finish you can blame me if you want, i really don t care about what people think about me, i past this age a long time ago... But i think you wrong, devs choose their fate by their act. If they want to work to make good game people will folow, if not people will stop with time. Don t try to remove responsibility to devs of their act or duty by throw the responsability to the ones who want support what they like, it s not fair. The fate of their games are all in the devs hands in the end.
And it not like i don t have nothing else to do than look for porn game... Some time i past 6 or 7 month not looking at them... i have also a live with things more important to do.

You should try to vent your frustration on the right people, go on twiter (or X now) to talk to the dev, i think it will be better if he can hear this than me (even if he block you later)... i can t do or want do anything about his game, but it seem you, you like it.

Since you came, defending the patrons' attitude along with mentioning that you stay subscribed to projects "for one year or two...". I roasted you believing that you were one of them. You're not so you shouldn't feel concerned. Still, I disagree with the notion that you need to stay subscribed for so long without receiving nothing. All the people I follow on Patreon update their account monthly otherwise I stop my subscription. I don't think, It's too boring or time consuming to check if someone you're supporting is producing something.

There's no point in talking to the dev. As I said, he found the best opportunity to make money without working so why would he change? The only people who can make a change are those giving him money for nothing. For me, they're far from victims but those responsible for the situation. In that case, the dev is still making 4k while he has done nothing since 3 months. There's a limit to ignorance, they are willing pigeons.

Dont worry about me, i don t care... Like i said, i have some time a lot of things to do and don t have time for porn game... Work, familly, home maintenance, social life, etc... i dont have time to look for them all the time (i had few month free for now but it will not continu for long... sigh). So i can t subscribe month by month it will end and i won t notice. And I don't want to either it s too boring for me. When i support a game, it s when i beleve in the dev after see what he do, so i do not worry about content, i know when i come back there will be a lot to play. a year or two work fine for me for now.

And i think your wrong, if enough of you raid this twiter maybe he will move. If you go thinking you will lose before try you will not win anythings. And well you think what you want about subscriber, but i still disagree with you, the crook is scramming and it s all because he is a crook not because victimes are easy targets... the killer kill and it s because he want it, not because people are easy to kill.

Everyone needs entertainment and escapism, that much is true. But when you're acting like a predator on your patrons and subscribers, that's where many draw the line.
I used to support this game because I was all for a touching tale.
Then I saw that it was just going to be Sexfest with Possible Incest #(insert silly number here) in the end.

Badjourasmix, he let his previous cash cow die and yet still has people throwing money at him for that.

I'm starting to sadly believe that you're all right... I've read the numerous posts, I've taken the time not to be just 'mean.' I just lament that for a forum like f95 where games are free, I find certain behavior inappropriate. I understand the frustration and the 'he's mocking us' aspect; what I understand less is the need to be mean or why he still earns $4,000 with his Patreon... I find both sides foolish, not just those who believe in the project

In the time he took to release the beta version of the episode he already released, Being A Dik made five gigs worth of content for the ep 10 release.

Meanwhile, this guy is still claiming that part B is 'larger than most games updates'.

This is actually just sad. That being said, I'm very much enjoying watching the drama unfold. I'm hoping for a 'letter of apology and promise to do better' when he tries to win back supporters. That's always so much more entertaining than just he shuts down the patron and goes silent.

Are his paying supporters getting frustrated at all? I'm curious.

They aren't getting that frustrated yet support didn't drop much on Patreon only like 400 from last month

Yeah he let polarity die but then he created another game. He is not dumb, he knows that if he wants money he has to release some content at some point. In the last 8 months he has lost almost 500 subs and for context that was the number of subs that polarity had at its peak.
