There should already be no taboo content on the patreon version, there is a patch for a reason. Or the triplets being wards is not enough censorship?

It seems like patreon is now going after games even if the content that breaks their rules is not posted there.
This writing is so puerile. "Hey, slut, wanna dance?" from a random Chad on the dance floor. A DJ says at the prom, "Spread yer pussies, bitches." No fucking thanks. I'm so done playing games written by teenage boys whose balls haven't dropped. Grow up. Figure out what it means to actually love someone before feigning life experience that you clearly don't possess. Creeps who act like this never get past "Hi, bitch," IRL. What makes you think a narrative like this would appeal to most people, or even some people? It's so far from believable fantasy as to have no other place but the trashcan. Start over.

the game is quite popular. So I guess it appeals to some people. and dev is closer to 40 than 20 there is no point in calling him a teenager unless you consider that being a final fantasy fan makes you a teenager

Not going to say the writing is all that good, but you're quoting two characters we only see in the intro and are quickly forgotten. Chad is supposed to be a douche bag and that might be one of the only lines the DJ actually has. Did you even play passed that intro?

From what I've heard said before in the Discord channel, they've been investigated by Patreon's Trust and Safety team before and they didn't have any issue with the content back then. It sounds more like they'd move it all to SS if they can't get the Partreon page back. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah I doubt that they would make any drastic changes to the game, they would lose a lot of support. Their SS is not that big right now, I think they are making only 1k there. But if patreon shuts them down a lot of people will just start supporting them on SS. It may not ne everyone that was supporting them on patreon but I think a good number of them will do it.

Yes, but if you realize some things that happened in this thread, Sir D is doing everything possible to maintain the page. and the only way for that to happen is for a lot of things to be modified at the Milfy City level. So I don't know if that's a good sign.

The game is great, the little support in SS is because it was always a secondary page for them, but there are games that do very well in SS, as long as you release updates in a decent period the game has the potencial to do great in SS .

The main issue with SS is you're limited in how you can pay. You can't use PayPal there and have to use a credit card. That's why more people won't move over to it.

They accept debit cards too. I find it hard to believe that any adult doesn't even have a debit card. heck, in my country you can have one from the age of 13 lol.

True but at this point, the way things are going on patreon I think it would be better to just take the hit and move to SS. It's too much of a risk right now, they seem to getting more strict with their rules.
I quit playing when the MC laid out Chad. I can't see myself in that character, either. Too much schoolyard machismo for m e.

Then I think you missed out. That's about all the "schoolyard machismo" I can recall seeing. Gotta realize that at that point the MC is young and stupid. The game jumps forward in time to at least a decade or so. There's some pretty emotional stuff that comes up after that.

The idiocy knows no bound. I checked the petition out and the comments read as if those absolute morons actually consider incest and rape as being the same as committing them in reality.
I knew we have one or two blowhards here on the board who argue like that, but I really didn't think you would find more than 5000 of those idiots to support a petition like that (not that I think there aren't that many idiots around, but that they also found the petition, this is what surprises me).

Well, I understand the bad image of incest, because the majority of cases that are made public are always cases of grooming or family abuse, so it is normal that people have such a bad image of incest. but in any case it's fiction, it's like we cancel games like gta v because you can kill innocent people. It is simply fiction. The real bad people are out there committing crimes, not playing little games. but people are too idiotic to understand that.
