SirDamn is perfectionist and have same problem George Martin have: Writer block. And seem for same reason: he dont know howwrap up story. Because aside perfectionism he seem Panster type of writing not Architector.
So he was just adding lots of characters when was paionate, without knowing how story end, and now cant wrap it all up in way which he would like.
Which caused him have Writer Block. That why he just procrastinate and drag time.Same way George Martin: simply cause he dont know how end it.
Render guy would make those renders, but he seem dont know how wright at all. So need someone make story for him so he would turn it into renders.
As Sir Damn Said he wanted perfect Harem: which based on tags: incest, harem, virgins, BDSM, emotional abuse and emotional sadism. Even single moms are virgins in his game. So setup was there, but seem he never thought through how to end it.
As he said he wanted Drama, and wanted girls be jealous. And MC kinda made girl agree join harem in "believable way".
His original plan seems to make them join in "belivable way" was seem through Dark Path, where MC emotionaly abuse girls, make them hook on him and broken to such extent they just cant live without MC so agree on anithing out of desperation.
Even whole MC traumabackground was just setup to explain why DarkPath posible. And also whole trope of "Beast and Beauties", whereyoung pure virgin girls "heal MC dark soul" in process aswell. He abuse them and pretend they are just his toys, but in reality secretely fall for them.
Because I think in Pure route he kinda thought end with MC end up with platonic relahsip with Triplets and Brooke as wife.
Lust Route is small harem of those who lustfull enough to agree on that. Girls who jealous mostlikley wouldnt accept.
Dark Route my theory is was suposed have full harem since MC would broke all girls and make them join his harem.
(It also would explain why Dark Route where MC emotionaly abuse and cheat on girls have most content).
But again he seem never made outline of plot in Harem in beging of developing game. Just though go with where "characters and mood take him". And now wrought himself as he think into Block and dont know how get out there.
In reality there are posible sollutions for how move plot of game so it fit of what he wanted. And maybe he indeed should hire writer helper if he cant do it himself.
But he seem reject idea always. I think for several reasons:
1. Either he afraid New writer may replace him
2. He afraid New Writer would push story in direction he dont want to.
Anyway. If he in Writer Block this game gona have same fate as Winds of Winter Novel or Half-Life 3.))
I would recomend devs find proper writer who would help them develop story in direction they wanted. Cause it clear as day on their own they wont be able pull it, no mater how much time pass.
Because writing is simple: you either know what your story should be or not. If you cant invent story outline in month no mater how much you wait, it wont work.
Again alot of Pansters writers end up be in writer Block. But worst is they usually lie to fans, and lie to themself by procrastinating and promise they would do it right just give them more time.
So well yeah like I said earlier: if they wont find new writer, they mostlikley eventually would abondon game.
Cause main problem of game developing is writing not renders.
