This guy replaced Nyl for me for a while now. Instead of making artsy fartsy two second clips because he's bored of making money, he should go back to making good videos like radroach here. Glad I'm subbed to him.

He's not wrong. Although Radroach is using Nyl's models, his animations are are better than anything NYL has released all year. In fact I would say what Roadroach has made since going the sub route is far better than anything NYL has made.
NYL has spent the entirety of 2023 making 10 sec loops and and a couple 1-2 minute animations. On Patreon, he is at the point that it doesn't matter what he makes at this point, people will keep giving him money. He is in coasting mode and he knows it. Its why he releases a bunch of loops every month. He knows he has to present as though he is working on something to keep subscribers happy. The guy is making over 20k at month yet is outputting far less than others making a 10th of what he does.

Maybe some of you all stuck with only one artist, idk try fukin Rigid, Amazonium, Meis, Rescraft did futa recently...
He's good in some way and funny for sure, but not even close to Nyl's quality and attention to details,
mf made it only bcs of totally ripping girl's bodies into oblivion with intense action

Nyl's animation is far superior to rad's, idk what you're talking about. the motion is smoother, the pacing is better and far less choppy, Nyl's animations are all around more refined. If you like choppy and rough animation then that's fine, but don't go around saying its better than a unarguably more refined product.
Does Rad use VA’s for his vids or stock audio? His old ones were definitely stock but this newest one was different but it didn’t sound like the same 5 VA’s everyone use

He takes audio from porn videos and probably matches the animation to fit the audio. You can tell its not hired VA's because of the reverb in the background that you constantly hear in like home videos, like a woman masturbating in her room.

You can have the best animations in the world but if you use it to make 2 second clips of badly lit videos, I lose interest. I'm trying to rub one out, not leave a review on letterboxd. Anyway, this is my opinion so disagree if you want. I like both at the end of the day.

I just want to say that I agree with both sides here.
Yes, Nyl is amazing and probably one of the top 5 blender porn creators ever as far as skill is concerned. No one doubts that. But let's be real... This is porn. Sometimes 10 seconds loops just don't cut it for porn. Roach does 2 and 3 minute videos which, let's be honest, fit better for what porn should be.
I also question Nyl's enthusiasm for his work sometimes. He is literally making $30,000 a month. That's $360,000 a year. You're telling me that he can't hire some other creators for like $10,000 a month to help him make content? Or at least help set up a lot of preliminary stuff for a 2 to 3 minute video? He would still be making good money and have a steady stream of videos each month on top of that. With the money he is making, he could have been a full blender porn studio at this point! I didn't include Patreon fees in my equation but the highest I have seen is 12 percent, which would still leave a nice chunk of change for Nyl each month when all is said and done.
I thought the Bordello would rekindle his enthusiasm. And I think they did at first. I mean compare Bordello 1-3 to the rest of his output. There is some really great stuff in there. But now he appears to have gotten stuck with some technical issues and the momentum he had going on kind of fizzled.
It's a shame because I feel he is capable of making some really great stuff but is held back for whatever reason.

I really don't get this whole enthusiasm point? Where is this lack of it that you speak of? You do realise that on top of the character models he makes (and is also nice enough to share them online) he has also been building the location models and scenes as well right? Your making it sound like its a cakewalk when the majority of sfm/blender animators just download a location along with the models (quite possibly Nyls models at that) and just animate it and that's fine and better then what Nyl does when realistically its just a scene that's been stretched to a minute+ that just has multiple angles of 1 or 2 positions, cmon man the loop function is basically achieving the same thing
In regards to the whole "he earns X a month and should do this or that" that's a you problem. Last I checked I wasn't aware there were rules that you should start hiring people at certain financial breakpoints.... Anyway I do believe he has got a close and trusted small group of people who have helped out on the BG3 models and some of the lighting in some of the scenes I believe also the water on his latest pinup with Laezel and Shadowheart I think, check the posts as I'm sure he credited some people. Whether he pays them full time, short term commission or there doing it for free I dunno, you'll have to ask him if it bothers you that much.
To finish this off, personally myself I will always choose the short length quicker to make animations over massive vids that take near or over a year to make. Its not that I dont like them its just more off a payoff kinda thing and that they feel lacking considering the time it took to make over the amount of smaller quicker ones we could have got instead. Two examples being, again just my personal opinion and not saying they are bad, Big Johnsons Special Delivery film which was great but took a year and currently still in production but getting close to finishing Perfectdeadbeats Gadabout 2, looks great and cant wait to watch it when it comes out but the amount of content that we could have got and the potential variety of it as well from him makes it a hard pill to swallow considering how longs it been in production.

to be fair, I think doing this would likely result in a decrease in the quality as its a lot easier to ensure a product is up to par when you're the only one working on the project. Adding another person introduces a multitude of new factors that will affect the end result, even if they're trying to replicate Nyl's work it'll never be quite the same. If this were an issue of hardware then I'd agree, but the actual choke point is Nyl himself.
I could be entirely wrong, but that's just my perspective on it

No, you're absolutely right. Nyl would want to work on the stuff his team would create to get it up to his standards. Which could take a lot of time as well. My point was simply that he could have a studio if he wanted one. And when it comes to the type of stuff he does most often (10 seconds loops with sound), I'm sure he could have found some good animators who would very nearly match his quality so he would only have to do minor tweaks.
And honestly, my example was more of an illustration. When you have Amazonium making pretty much the same type of vids Nyl does with the same quality (or close to it) for far less money, it REALLY calls attention to Nyls output.
And while RadRoach isn't up to the same quality of Nyl (yet), he is consistently putting out longer length videos. I like Nyl a whole lot but something has to be said for the financial situation. When you are making more money than others, you will be under a bit more scrutiny by default and you must work at a higher level then others. Tom Cruise gets paid a lot of money to be in movies because he is still popular, a good actor and chooses good movies to be in. He wouldn't be paid as much if he didn't consistently perform at an excellent standard in all these areas.
Where's Nyl sometimes seems like those celebs that open an only fans. You fantasize that they will do some hardcore stuff on there but it's always cock tease material. It's like wasted potential. Or put another way, Nyl is like if Paige Spiranac or Margot Robbie decided they will become pornstars but will only do handjack scenes. Yeah it's sexy but after a while it just becomes a waste of potential lol.
