If you are using an older laptop or older computer and having issues with the 4k video try putting an ssd in your computer and stick with MPV player since it's better for weaker computers. I have an old hp elitebook laptop that has hackintosh on it from 2012 and 4k videos work with MPV videos.

idk man, I got 4060ti 16 gigs and i9 11900KF, 1 stick of 16gigs od ram DDR4.
maybe the ram is the problem.
monitor is basic 1080p 144 refresh rate

naaah, its like... my main pc lmao.
maybe the network is bad, cause it also happens with 720p but its much later.

i mean 1.5 mb/s internet, and 1.6 mb/s at peak is pretty not poggers.
