go to the park at night from downtown, click on the gap in the trees to the left where the crack in the wall is (need to be at the recruiting the second part member part of the story)

you need to get the adventuring clothes, the cafe ele job in downtown gets you the money then buy the clothes from the tailor

While exploring downtown at the beginning of the game I accidentally got sent to the ball through memory. Now after the first quest they don't give any others. Probably a bug.

I had the same thing happen to me. I did most of the story and got through a lot of the seduce scenes. I didn't start any quests yet and I clicked the doors to the Mayor's Hall and accidentally clicked memory. After it finished, I went back to the Adventurers Guild and it said there was no quests available.

I guess my save is messed up now

Need to take the Canine village quest first, beat the boss, go to the village to talk to a dwarf that will tell you to buy white kimono, then you can take the job application.
