As much as I love the idea of content returning...
I can't help but feel like we're acting similar to Patreon by basically bullying him into changing stuff.

I get that people want hardcore stuff, but is it worth the risk at the current moment?

Returning fire is not the same as shooting first, now is it? If we won't be vocal about it, the dickless shmucks that supported censorship get an automatic win simply by being loud minority.

And as for Pathreon, at the end of the day it's nothing more than an easy to use middleman, and there are more than a few less censorship happy alternatives to it.
Worst comes to pass, Bunis and others independent creators like him might even follow example of QueenComplex. That artist created his own site with easy to pay option, and almoust compleatly transfered his fanbase there.

Create a new website or make new accounts on other platforms like subcriblestar or itch are very easy, the problem is that: Will they support Dev on those site like they did on Patreon? Lot of cases where Dev Patreon site got banned for the content that violate the rules and force to move to other platforms in hope to regain their lost fans and money but in the end had to abandon the project and disband because not many want to follow the team to other site they deemed "questionable safety" like Blue axolotl incident
That's why I suggested Bunis to develop the vanilla and good path for his project first, following Patreon guidelines and gain as many fans and money from them as possible before consider the Evil one. Even then I said it was better to make a separate version like how Ecchi sensei team have done, upload the censored on patreon while the uncensored patch will be on third party site that didn't have any involve with them

With how payment processors started to act towards smut ricently (pornhub as one of the most well know episodes, pathreon becoming puritanical is also partualy their fault) it may very well become the only option in the nearest future, unless, of course, MasterCard and the like gets their shit pushed in with some laws that forbid payment processors to refuse services unless its autorized by court decisions.

Also, I would like to belive that we are not so much as firing at him, as we are enouraging him to follow his original vision for the game. If he never wanted to do it, he would not have writtent the things he did in the first place.

Also, lets be honest here. Those busybodies that probably squealed on Bunis to Patreon staff in the first place, the types that are trying to kill of certain genres in what is already open choice VN just because they don't like them, most of them probably wont pay for his work even if he complies. They just do it to feel good and smug about themselves. The niche audience that was drawn in to that sweet Dark Fantasy porn game on the other hand...

I am not gonna harrass the dev about it and I respect others opinions and likes about it.

Btw, I REALLY like the artwork aand wish more games had something more unique the the generic 3D or koikatsu designs.

I mean so far the rape and extreme violence stuff was pretty undertone beside Thea got raped and killed by the Imp that lead to immediate Game Over we only got the priestess punishment for her crime (and those scenes got cut or change already) so you can still enjoy the game as a vanilla romance game, and even when Bunis putting those content and event in the future he will giving you choice to either lead MC into Evil path or stay as a Hero till the end which mean still a win win for both of us

Avoidable. For example, to get a gory imp scene, that was ment as a bad end to begin with, you had to play as a compleate bastard that likes to watch, instead of helping or running away.

As for other instances. Elf priestes that was caught being slaver/rapist for one, has more of Kuroinu/early Rance series tone, just without upbeat glorious music to celebrate the process.


Speaking of glorius musical themes, some of thematic background music during sex scenes would really be a nice quality of life addition. Something soft for romantic route, upbeat for lucky bastard route, and maybe something out of thrillers for bad ends to warn people that clicked on bad/wrong/evil choices. There are also tonns of royalty free stuff so it wont drain the Bunis budget much, and triggering a start of a tune at the start of sex scene is also easy enough code wise.

Basically the priestess rape scene got change into a Dream sex instead because Patreon didn't like it, overall is that she was a bitch that rape 1 of the elven boy for years and finally got exposed and captured by MC. In the original plot players have option to either leave her there and go call the villagers or choose to rape her as revenge for what she done
Thea Imps rape scene are basically instant game over if MC choose to either watch when that happen or if he decide to sold out all the crystals that are the Imps weakness and decide to go help her, without that item the Imps will fight back and kill both him and Thea so the scene are avoidable

Honestly to say beside those 2 scenes the entire game content so far are nothing but vanilla content so you are freely to play without any concern or feared that it got into something you didn't like, me personally want to have more darker scenes and event where MC can choose to be more evil in the long road just to see the different. Again it was just my preference because the tone of the story show that MC had to choose between Good and Evil and throughout the story it did show time and time that he did got very close to be influence by the darkness

I'm getting this error while talking with Gabe and Thea in my house in the morning. v0.7, started fresh.

I can ignore this and still able to play, although not sure if it will brake my save sometime later in the game.
