You should be able to, you just need to redownload the old .dll file and change the application compability, I ran this on Win10

There should be a fix for it, it's like The Academy2 fix, literally the same file, the .dll should be around this post or Academy2 post, download it, and drop to replace the old .dll file that came with the game, I wish I could help you more but my laptop is currently unavailable so I couldn't provide you the file
If you're asking how to change compability, just right click the game.exe, and click properties, there should be an option to "always run in compability" drop down and choose which windows it want to run as, there's a more detailed instructions around on YouTube

It's an .exe that lets you mod the game, basically like a mod manager, there are some mods around you just have to find it, I found a link full of it but I forgot where, and just like I said above, my laptop is currently unavailable so I couldn't find it for you but the posts around this thread should give you some tips and some links towards where the mods are

Well, I've booted both .dll at the right play, I even have the RL2 moding spec on it, but it still doesn't work... Game either don't launch, or launch and crash once I select play...

Tried changing the compability?
Also if you use RL2 harem.exe, just use it to modify the mods, and manually open the game from the game.exe instead of the RL2harem.exe, maybe that could work
All I can suggest is,
1. Re-check your mods (every each one) to see which one is making it crashing
2. Switch the launcher compability
3. Try running it with Japanese Locale Emulator (see if it works this is just an idea) since this game is massively banned

Last time it took me almost a week just to re-install one of Illusion's game (Academy2) since there was too much bugs
AA2 was a nightmare for me before i got it to work!! but it was super worth it in the end and so was this i enjoyed it

Just to drop another tip in case someone is still unable to run the game despite trying everything else or maybe as something to try first:
If you have 2 or more monitors, turn the other ones off. This game is ancient and it's 50-50 whether a program from the time decides it doesn't want to work if a second monitor is present.

Welp, got the game to launch precisely once, and boy howdy - they certainly don't make 'em like they used to anymore.
Install bricked itself since, so I'll probably wait for a hero to update/write a proper installation/modding guide. Slogging through pages to piece together scraps of "maybe-try-this" solutions wasn't worth the bloody effort.

Does someone know how to trigger the Aoi's killing scene?
I know you need to be in cowgirl position and she must not be broken, but I have tried it several times with different sets of "statuses" for all girls and nothing happens

if you get all nine icons displayed below the character's eyes in the h-play select menu, the girl will be mind-break.
Once Aoi's mind gets broken it will be impossible to get the ending where she stabs Masaya to death.
But anyway, I already managed to get the ending.
apparently, you need to have at least a count of 10 h-plays with her
not sure tho, but was the way it worked for me

You meant where you should put RL2? I remember putting it in the same folder as The base game, I've had some mods working and some didn't, not all mods worked in my caseso where should i even put rapelay in the first place? and then the mod? i tried everything and the mods did not work. the game works just fine but the problem is i wanted the mods
