This minigame is a based as a prequel of The Legend of Versyl, you will play as the human Siraya that will have to set her mother free: Astarte - The Queen of Succubuses. It won't take longer to make her discover that her human appearance was just a spell put on her by Astarte...​

In the world I live, and for that I mean the real everyday life, nobody born already with any kind of knowledge. So before judging something as bad, people should look around. Go playing with pokemon if you want something easy for the level of intelligence of a kid.

I agree, that calling the game a piece of shit is over the top by the guy who said it, but your reaction is ridiculous. In no way did he attack you personally, but you just go and straight-up insult the man.

Also if you look behind his inability, to make a constructive statement, you'd see that your game isn't clear on the save feature for every user, even if it is caused by their own stupidity.



As someone who develops software mainly for people that have little to no experience with anything besides word and maybe excel at best, I had to learn pretty quickly that you have to make your product so that it is usable by the dumbest and/or most inexperienced users (Or in your case players) you can think of.

You said it yourself: "nobody born already with any kind of knowledge". So why do you have to insult the man?
If anything this sentence shows that you should have some sympathy for him not having said knowledge and help him out, instead of being a dick about it. I get that he shittalked your game and that makes you mad, but as a public person (Which you are as a patreon dev) you should be above this kind of childish behaviour.

First of all, every patreon creator keep on taking head down all these people... well I'm not that kind of guy and if I have to tell something (as you can see) I always reply.
True that I'm a public person as Kravenar's team head, but hey hey I don't go in the first shop I find and tell the owner that he sells shit without even trying to know what they're doing.
Those who came in my company (in real life) pretending our things were shit, went back home with bones cracked by my employeers (and that day unfortunately I didn't went to work, so I missed the fun).
However, I understand that maybe it was a little an over reaction, but hey, if people want respect they have to pay respect. We're not living with the patreon income, and this was released for FREE for everyone. So I'm going to give my excuses to all other forum users and mods for my "rude" answer, it is right. But I hope you will get my point of view.

Bro, I just removed my Escape button from my keyboard thinking that could make me save... that statue was the only glittering object in the room but it didn't catched up my eye. As good critic I can tell you to place a giant choice in every future game you will create that will ask to play the tutorial.... so I could press the Skip button and blast you in public places. Or you could simply create a menu similiar to The Rise of Bhaal and other 9999 Rpg Maker Games.

And I'm not saying you need to keep your head down. Defend your product. But straightup attacking and insulting a person doesn't do that.
It just makes you look just as bad or in this case way worse than him.
Like I said, did he talk shit about your game? Most certainly.
Did he insult or attack you? No, he didn't.
Did you insult him? Yes, you personally attacked him (Albeit verbally).
He acted more mature than you did.

If anything you behaved worse than him. You actually managed to put yourself on a lower level than him with this.
I actually worked in a store before, so I can actually say something to that example too. I had a customer who bought salted caramel and came back the next day and complained about it being to salty. How do you think I reacted? Did I call him a lazy useless existence? No, of course not. That'd would be stupid. I stayed calm and told him, that he bought SALTED caramel, so of course it's gonna be salty. I would've been fired quickly if I started insulting someone over something stupid like that.

but still some things should have been differents in my own opinion
- No choices...except fight or sex
- Items which are totally useless
- No stake as it is impossible to lose a fight

However it gave me the desire to try the legend of versyl

I know you have to use the statue. Every time I’d click save, it’d make a sound indicating I wasn’t allowed to do that. So yeah, it’s a piece of shit. I was excited about the tags for the game, too.
