That's my point. Apart from the dragon paying the price to get their help, the princess too has to pay a price to the faction the dragon chose to ally with. All three factions have their own goals when it comes to the kingdom. Each one is seeking something from the princess and the realm.Of course they all have their own goals, but the price to get their help was those specific individuals. Anything else beyond that isn't really a "price for help"
It really is kinda weird that after picking one faction the other two just... disappear.Honestly you should be able to interact with all the lair faction without sacrificing anyone but you shouldn't get their help unless you sacrifice their chosen target
