For those that don't want things spoiled its important to remember that your wounds are a resource you can spend, you will recover 1 wounds per act. Failing various Stat checks can cause you to take a wound but also increase your strength as you gain experience. You can also look for easy targets to pick off, careless enemies, livestock, etc.

There's a multitude of options and variations, of course you cant go through all of them in 1 go. I dont know what part of this surpises you. You arent meant to see everything in a game with this many choices, which actually matter. By their definition, making a choice, closes other venues. Which you are free to pursue in another playthrough. And thats a positive. Kinetic noves are effectively dead once they run their course. Variety is a good thing.

Also at the time that body dropped from malice it was still recognizable enough as a body for "a neck" to be a thing, as well as a naked breast.
The evaporation happened later.
