Mapping is the key word
In Darksouls you need to develop your skills and use them.
This game? there is zero skill, you just need to use a walkthrough.
Or you need to replay it so many times you write your own personal walkthrough.
There is absolutely zero indication of what is going to happen when you take an action. You are flying blind and randomly stumble into scene
There is absolutely no chance that any person could take the "correct" path without a walkthrough on his first playthrough because there is absolutely 0 wiggle room.
10) Always pick the kobolds as your army of choice for storming the capital. This lets you use the "ALL ABOARD" option which bypasses the only strength check in the game that is higher than 4 and actually matters.
This really is a perfect example of the issue.
These are not tips, they are steps in a walkthrough.
You are literally telling us that
> either you should have vored some girls for strength
> or you should have used a walkthrough to maximize strength and even then you won't have enough, but you can skip the check by using X army in Y battle and picking Z choice.
> don't worry about failing the other str checks. they don't matter
Then you have all those
> don't waste time doing X
> you must to Y and Z to maximize money
etc
Just off the top of your head there are a dozen hard rules of what you must do, in an exact manner, to thread the needle. And there are many more you did not list.
Thats just not true. It is entirely possible to not gift or eat a single girl and still take over the kingdom without destroying or sacrificing any part of it. Ive done it multiple times with all 3 lairs, though the mine is by far the easiest. Im willing to bet you havent even tried exploring variations of the possible paths, if you can really claim the PC is forced to eat or hand over girls. So you've picked the lazy option of simply cheating instead.
You would lose that bet.
I did try. It was not possible when I tried it.
Devs have since added many more scenes and options (and even acts) since I last attempted it.
So if we are to believe you, it is now "technically possible" but only if you fully map out the timeline.
This is an utterly obnoxious thing to suggest every player do.
So realistically, you are not supposed to play it as a game, you are supposed to use a walkthrough to turn this into a kinetic novel where all your choices are pre-made for you.
