no you can keep both if you picked the right options when recruiting them
not in the long term. in act 5 a decision must be made since the town the mercs rule is in lowland area. so he's saying you gotta promise the wolves something other than the lowlands in order to keep them both.

Maybe a false alarm. Many anti-malware programs will misdetect stuff like DRM-removers as viruses. Not that there are no virus-infected DRM-removers, but this one is used by way too many people for the virus to be a possibility.

Honestly, I suspect that anti-malwares are tuned to attack any program that hosts Jolly Roger on its mast. For I have seen them frequently attack cracks, pirate installers and the like - even when there were no actual virus. And I don't mean: "dude, this software is sus, don't click it", I mean: "SUPER-MEGA DANGER WRYYYYY!!111" when there was no danger.
A lot of times they don't even pretend to think it is a vrius and just mark it as "potential unwanted software: hack tool"

Yeah. Like they just washed their hands and went: "we dunno, you go figure yourself, chum!".

Honestly, big rep blow IMO. Default AV-software nowadays are just glorified electronic analogue of small barky dog that goes off barking on anything. Figuring stuff out is half the job of AV! And absolute abundance of false alarms either make people sus of every small piece of software they download (which is dumb!), or stop caring about AV alarms altogether (which is also dumb!). In the end, the customer just gets more frustrated and acts dumber.

We in this here thread put great value on our traditions! And our traditions stand on two pillars: "why game no launch?77" and "update suck, content lack!11". Our community won't be itself without these pillars, so we must cherish them, I say!

Mock the asker - mock the thread! Mock the asker - mock the thread!

You're talking as if internet isn't full of viruses and other malware. And as if you shouldn't be sus of every single download by default.

I just never download anything from anywhere, except for a couple tried and tested forums. And I still use an AV, just to be safe. Cause broken files can still bork your pc, even if they're not malware.
Does anyone still remember that infamous "phone killer", that turned out to simply be wrongly converted mp4 file?

i simply throw games into a sandbox, by default. that's that.
oh and, my AV does provide this little tool right on the erm, 'Explorer context menu' aka right click.
it should be every decent AV offer this, but idk mang..

well i'm kinda guy who wants have a say in decisions, so i've chosen an AV that delivers a 'paranoid' setting which will lead to it asking me each single time about everything, including windoze own files if i want, and i can decide to have it do this only once, or remember my decisions over each single action for each single executable file. that's for if i ever run a thing outside the box.

if something goes awfully wrong with a game or whatever else in that box, it's two clicks away 'kill box' and the whole box is gone, including saves (sadly) and whatever was malicuous.
-oh and, what runs in the box, stays in the box. can't access the real OS, or file system, or network.
that's why i never ask for saves btw.. files from outside aren't touched when i put them into the box. log 'modified content blocked' well it's more fun to play the game than to just cry for complete saves.

about Ravager wanting to launch steam, anne O'nymous confirmed that's not even a true DRM, see >this post< for details. if you follow those steps, you don't have to download a remover, but it requires work, probably with each game update.

Question but what horde you people like the best? outside of the special ones (Proteans, Infernals, Malagar)

Personally i do like the Wolfmen horde the best.

Honestly i don't even like the mercs outside of Cooch and Rhyll, especially the latter because he is so fucking cool, the voice def helps, props to the VA (and pretty much the rest of the cast really)
Yeah, mercs are more personality-centered. Its those two or not those two.

Pack, on the other hand, is collective-centered. The alpha is merely a continuation of it.

Two rather different groups with their own unique charm.

Then there kobolds, your dutiful dimwit minions who are more cute than anything. A third type of charm.

Oh, and lets not forget the spooky troops. The creepy-scary supernatural kind of charm.

All-you-can-eat buffet, really. Man, I love this game for more than just porn.
