Ren'Py - Completed - Raven's Quest [v1.4] [PiXel Games]

Visually, the women look great, albeit the same cannot be said about men, who, with the exception of one character at act 2, appear identical, with identical genetalia.

It is a meme that people play these games for the story, but seriously, this game has a well-crafted story, with intermittent h-scene interactions. These interactions are sometimes key to unlocking further content to progress through the story, but some are optional, and are entirely up to the player to exploit/enjoy.

The overall UI was a little laggy for me at times, but I've yet to encounter a game-breaking bug. From the story, to the characters, to the h-scenes, everything was just perfect.

A seriously big thanks to the author for making this available for free.

Great art, plenty of fetishes (some of which hit home for me, personally), passable writing.
Though the game does struggle quite a bit with technical issues, as in my opinion Ren'Py was not the best choice to base this game on.
Nevertheless i enjoyed it thoroughly and would love to see the game be released to steam so that i can purchase it.

This game was pretty good. There is a good amount of situations, the story is consistent and there is a lot of clothe options. The battle system is not too challenging but it's not a problem.

My main issue is the lack of CG and animation. The animations were re-used all along the story and scenes.

But a good game overall with nice H-content.

While the art and sexy events of Raven's Quest are great, the overall gameplay is less than stellar. The combat, such as it is, is tedious and frankly not fun. The game is definitely at its best when it's a scene finder, though it would really help if there were something of a checklist in order to make sure you've caught everything.

Lot's of good content, but lacks gameplay balance (sometimes aspects reset to full, sometimes not, which could be a regional difficulty or tactical decision, but recharging them is way too bothersome to make it worth it ;

The prices are absolutely insane making it an incredibly tedious grind;

Gathering herbs can fail, which is the worst thing a game mechanic could have, not to mention the alchemy interface where the herbs are found (since not all places, even if affected by logic have herbs) or even how strong the potions are (weak, very weak and "better ones" progress locked);

needs in game descriptive gallery too, since there seems to be some clothing locked behind getting certain events (like all bath scenes) and with multiple ways to interact (enabled content, sub/dom approach, victory/defeat result) it's hard to keep track of what was experienced and what's missed.

In short: great visuals and vision, good selection of options and events, interesting combat system, that has bad balance and an awful economy and randomized outcome system that makes it a grind. Averaging out sort-of-good or above average - 3 stars / 5 .

The game is 99% repetitive placeholder cg's. for a games that's 3 years old its unforgivable. All the men are the same image just coloured differently even the alien race is just the same but coloured blue with a different haircut.

I thought this game was abandoned. It's long awaited return is one of the best pieces of news I've ever seen. This game is nearly the pinnacle of the fantasy genre, and is one of the best looking and well written games I've ever come across. The herb thing is still tedious though.

Very entertaining with lots of good fetishes. Decent combat and progression system, even when this is not a priority. The costumes give good variety and alleviate the grinding. The game can improve with better sound effects or less place holder graphics, but as it is, its one of the better corruption/RPG games around.

Mechanically, Raven's quest is a simple, but great game. You have a lot of freedom of choice of how to play it, what fetishes you want to engage with, and sexy scenes. The issue here, is that the game is past 1.0 and yet is missing most of the porn that it seems to be built around delivering. Aside from three game over CGs, every encounter is shown through generic cut-ins that wear very thin over the course of the game. While it's nice to have these generic encounters around, there are plenty of major story and follower events that I'd expect to get some sort of special treatment yet they all use generic art too. Forgetting most of the porn part of the porn game is just too much of an oversight for me to consider Raven's Quest good.

this game is fantastic. The art is nice and attractive.

There are lots of interactions in this game, with different NPCs, with different events. Thus players are able to get abundant gaming experience.

the game covers a lot of fetishes. dom/sub, breeding, prostitution, public sex.....and also controversial ones: for example, bestiality. But guess what? you can skip them!

you also will obtain a lot of outfits, and customize your body with tattoos and piercing!

I can't say its story is epic, but it is interesting and reasonable. The game is not repetitive at all unless you choose to repeat it.

Great game. I love the MC design and all her outfits. The game lets you take on a submissive or a dominant personality which is a refreshing ability in the female protagonist genre. The kinks are plentiful but the majority of them are optional if certain ones aren't you cup of tea. The only downside is that the sex animations are pretty basic and repeat a lot. If you play lewd games for the scenes, maybe skip this one, but if you enjoy a more text based experience Raven's quest is for you and is one of the best female protagonist games out there.

I am absolutely in love with this game. Everything seems perfekt! i love the idea of pregnancy with chooseable beastiality content. another positive aspect is the random encounters and hot side events! Only two donwgrades are the short story line and the same never changing animation/sex scenes all the time. I cannot say how much i want this game to continue and expand. best regards.

Promising game, with one outstanding feature: The main character is super cute, pretty and desirable. Her looks alone are worth one star.

-Pro:
- Plays very fast with quick dialogues
- Plenty of Sex scenes (but see below under Con)
- Game has got a fresh dynamic feeling
- Stats and combat are easy though smart
- And foremost: Art style and main character are very tasty

- Con:
- The sex scenes are mostly repetative (all blowjobs the same, all vaginal the same etc.). This is really a big drawback: Like 6 drawings are used over and over with new and different encounters.
- The sex scenes are not fullscreen but in a limited box, leaving out a lot of the bodies
- Getting money (needed for upgrades and potions) gets grindy

The game has potential due to its freshness and good looks. But needs a lot more content and art.

Any game that I play through more than one from start to finish gets a 5/5 in my book, loved every update so far and from what I can tell about the dev I doubt it'll drop any time in the near future.

If you're into going around and sluttin up for the greater good give this one a shot. If not try it anyway, it's a damn good game.

I love everything this game has going on! It was really engaging trying to complete and find all the quests to get all the articles of clothing. Yet, I was shocked there was even more to it. Love the surprise item usage to turn into a succubus! Grinding done right and the artwork is awesome. Kinda wish it was more animated but I am not taking points off my score because of it. Love all the kinky stuff this game has to offer and hope there is tons more to come! Keep up the good work guy!

Frustratingly grindy with too many sub-sub-submenus.

The events and overall writing suggest exciting ideas, but the execution was no fun because of the overt repetition and convoluted designs. The battle system felt out of balance and place at this stage in development, and can be completely side-stepped by adopting a slutty playstyle. The experience was like playing an old text adventure from the experimental days before good practices were established. On the plus side, the art is decent and I liked the variety of outfits and modifications suggested.

Maybe the game will get streamlined in future with more great content/writing, but right now it felt like a waste of time.

The art is nice, and the game plays decently. However, it just didn't click with me.

I'm a big fan of corruption games, but this game does not feel like corruption. The protagonist just goes along with any situation within 5 or 10 minutes from the start . Quite quickly a lot of the sex scenes just feel like a grind, and it stopped my drive to explore further in the game.

It's a bit sad, since I actually enjoyed the content I did see, and I still got bored.

I have to say I really am enjoying this one. I like the fact that it is an RPG style game those are my favorite after all. The only real issue is its alot of Rinse and Repeat, but the game and style is rather nice.
